"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"

I am a first year criminology student in Abuyog Community College. As a Criminology Student, my life has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions and experiences. From the very first day of my college, I knew that pursuing a degree in criminology was the right choice for me. The subject has always fascinated me, and the idea of being able to understand the mind of a criminal and help prevent crime was something that I found incredibly appealing.

The first few weeks of college were overwhelming. I was excited to start my journey as a criminology student, but at the same time, I was nervous about the challenges that lay ahead. However, as I started attending classes and interacting with my professors and peers, I began to feel more confident and comfortable in my new environment.

One of the things that I love about being a criminology student is the variety of subjects that we study. From criminal law and psychology to forensic science and sociology, the curriculum is diverse and engaging. The classes are designed to provide us with a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system and the various factors that contribute to crime.

Apart from the academic aspect, being a criminology student has also given me the opportunity to participate in various extracurricular activities. I have attended seminars and workshops on topics such as cybercrime, human trafficking, and juvenile delinquency. These events have not only helped me expand my knowledge but have also allowed me to network with professionals in the field.

As a criminology student, I have also had the chance to interact with people from different walks of life. My classmates come from diverse backgrounds, and each one of them brings a unique perspective to the table. This has not only helped me broaden my horizons but has also taught me to be more empathetic and understanding towards others.

In conclusion, my life as a criminology student has been a fulfilling and enriching experience. The subject has taught me to think critically, analyze situations objectively, and has given me the tools to make a positive impact on society. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had so far, and I am excited to see what the future holds for me as a criminology graduate.
