Theories such as social learning theory, strain theory, and rational choice theory provide valuable insights into the motivations and thought processes of criminals.

      My life as a criminology
      student

As a student, I'm just struggling with my academics because I don't have enough confidence to take this subject, but I'm trying to get it done. I am interested in studying criminology for the mere purpose of wanting to gain a deeper understanding of the causes and consequences of crime and explore how crime affects our society. The workings of the human mind intrigue me. I have always enjoyed the study of criminals and how factors in society affect levels of crime. Studying social history in history, particularly the reform period in Victorian times, intrigued me into studying further how social policy affects how we live. The study of criminology appeals to me as it allows opportunities to gain a deeper insight into the origins and societal factors affecting why a person would execute a crime. This subject has helped me to understand the society in which I live, as well as a deeper comprehension of people's personalities as well as my own.

I have many ambitions that I want to get out of studying criminology, and I am very motivated to make this happen. My aim at this time of my life is to graduate from university with a degree.I will be a very hard worker.

student that will challenge myself throughout the course and can work with others or independently. I am organized, have great punctuation, and am very motivated to study a subject that I love. I believe that studying this course will help me achieve all my ambitions for the future, and I can't wait to finally study a subject in which I am very interested.

My dream career is to be a criminologist to serve this country and to protect my family from any danger because I'm not here studying criminology if not for them, which is very important to me as a criminology student, but on the bad side of studying criminology, I'm not focused on the school because of my circle of friends that are actively partying, playing basketball, and there are other subjects that we didn't attend. I believe that my personal well-being and good level of fitness will help me be a well-rounded student. I wish to enhance my knowledge about the criminal mind, understand how we conduct ourselves, and research why criminals are still such a substantial part of our world. By studying A-level PE along with being a participant in sports during my life, I have learned to be dedicated and hardworking and to grow as a person both physically and mentally, realizing the commitment needed to progress and be successful. I hope can reach my goal as a criminology student my father would be proud of I graduated as a criminology student.

"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"

My life as a criminology student is not easy specially I am a working student. Sometimes I'm struggling on my studies but I keep fighing on my dreams. Before I go to school I must clean first the office and organize things in the place where I work because I work there as a care taker of there property.

My criminology student life start when my mother motivate me to enroll in the college school. My mother said that if I will go to school and study, someday I will reach my dreams and have a good life in the future.

Now , I am a criminology student in Abuyog Community College, continuing life even if it is hard. As a criminology we should always early when we have a class in any subjects, like in our ROTC if our calling time is 700h we should come to school in 530/600h, so that we would not be masi-masi of our offices.Every Sunday we have our training in ROTC. We have many exercise and drills to strengthen our body and we have also our lecture after the the exercises.

Our class in other subjects are blended learning, other subjects are in online and others are face to face, it is because of lack of classrooms Ang facility.

As a criminology student I learned to become a responsible person, obedient person , follow rules and must of all is to become a respectful person.

My life As a Criminology Student

I am a first-year Criminology student and I really love my course. My interest in criminology grew as I lived in Abuyog Leyte which is one of the high crime areas and wondered as a child why there was more crime in their community/area than others. From day one of being in Criminology I loved my modules. I especially enjoyed learning about different explanations of crime and the ways in which race influences experiences of the criminal justice system. Every time I attend a Criminology lecture, I am told to tell my friends what I have learned

If anyone is thinking of going to Abuyog Community College, this is the best decision you will ever make. One of the best things about being in the Criminology Department at ACC is the support you receive from the staff. When I first started, I was a little nervous, mainly because I wasn't sure if I would fit in. I needn't have worried because I immediately felt welcomed and signposted to where I needed to go if struggling or finding things difficult. I find having this support really helpful.

One thing that is unique about studying Criminology at ACC is the fact that you get the opportunity to choose minor subjects to study alongside your major in the first year. You can choose from a range of subjects, both related to Criminology (in my case) or from across the university. so far, I have gained a lot of information that relates to Criminology and helps me with my essays and criminology knowledge.

I cannot emphasize enough the number of academic opportunities available for students at ACC. There is always something that can happen to basic skills. For example, there are writing skills workshops for Criminology students, which provide support in composing and writing essays. One opportunity I was particularly interested in was dance, which offered the chance to work in the industry for a year. There are many other opportunities and volunteer experience available throughout the Criminology degree.

One skill I learned while in School was time management. There is extensive support available, but independent study and thinking are essential to develop your knowledge.
as much as possible study hard if you still have support it's hard to smile for us in the future study first focus on academics

“My Life as a Criminology Student”
As a criminology student, the path we take is full of challenges and struggles, but it is also exciting as we learn many things not just academically, but also in life. My journey has been all about my struggles, which helped me become the best version of myself and shape me into who I am today. In this personal blog, I will share some of my learnings and experiences as a criminology student. How criminology student having a resilience and self discipline? In this blog you will know how we become self discipline and having a stillness attitude.
As a criminology student, I know that the journey is not an easy one as there are many hard circumstances in life that can bring you down easily if you are not strong enough. Difficulties can make you doubt your abilities and your whole existence. There are so many problems I have faced, such as financial crises, lack of self-discipline, stress, and studying, but I overcame them with the help of my motivation and inspiration in life, my parents' sacrifices for me to graduate from college.
In criminology, without resources, you cannot buy books and projects that help you perform well and get good grades. Therefore, without financial support, it is challenging to cope up with your activities and studies. The stress and anxiety of having too many works to do at home and school can make me procrastinate and not focus on what is essential. Having no self-discipline is really challenging because you let technology, social media, and people move you and do your work, and it becomes a bad habit and it affect you studies and time management if you don't have discipline in yourself you can't perform well and do the things that you supposed to do or the responsibilities that you hold.
The challenges that I have faced really broke me down to the core which I find myself helpless but I’m grateful I experience this kind of mental breakdown it made realize that no one will help us to stand up but ourselves so I move on take the first step and after that experience and I have been working hard to become a better person, and I am grateful to be on this journey. Pursuing criminology has helped me in many ways, such as boosting my confidence, practicing self-discipline, and learning how to manage anxiety and stress. It has also allowed me to cultivate a strong mindset and change my perspective on life. I have realized that we can accomplish anything if we set our minds to it, and the challenges we face in life are opportunities for us to learn and grow. We must embrace the pain and suffering that come with these challenges in order to break through and become the best version of ourselves
In conclusion, being a criminology student is not an easy task. We must work diligently to fulfill our responsibilities and push forward despite any obstacles that arise in order to achieve our life goals and make our parents proud. Challenges and struggles are necessary for us to become strong and gain wisdom, so we must embrace them and make the best of every situation.

MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT

I am now a Criminology student in Abuyog community college, I am 20 years old and a first year college student. Being a Criminology student is not that easy like some people think, they said that we are just criminology, but criminology is not that totally easy but also hard. We need to maintain our grades if you can't maintain your grades then you will not be a criminologist. We are expected to be disciplined, we can't do anything but a command of a higher than us. If someone don't obey their rules and their commands then all of us will be punished, so that we need unity for our own good, punishment is like a compensation for all the wrong things that we do.

Criminology students need to be on time of their call, we have to be nice and respectful everytime, but I like my course even though I don't want it at first. Because when I was a kid I used to be a soldier, a seaman and a singer but all of these has changed when I grown up. I want profession, I like to make my parents proud of me and that's why criminology is my choice. Studying criminology in ACC is enjoyable for me, I've meet alot of new friends and all of them are so nice because criminology students need to be nice to others we need unity.

Some people ask me why you choose this criminology course, some people say that Police officers are only after money, they are used by rich people for the sake of money. But I reply to them it depends on the person if he wants to sale his dignity, his honor, still their is so many good police officer don't just generalized it. One thing I learned in studying this course is that don't listen to others, don't mind what they are saying just do what you think is good. You are not studying to make their expectations, you're studying to be successful one day, you're studying for your family and to be a good police officer someday.

Criminology students also have so many talents they can dance, sing and many other sports. But they can't show it in the reason that maybe they're shy, maybe don't have opportunity or time, or maybe they're just hiding it. Even though you don't really have a talent the officers will force you to have a talent, in a minute you will have it because if you don't they are punishing us. And it's good for me because they are building our confidence to show off in front of other students. Also the instructors are great they want us to be good and to become better students.

And I suggest to all of you if you want to study criminology, it's more fun in ACC. from the very beginning I feel that I'm comfortable and I think this school really fit for me, even though we don't have rooms I still enjoying coming to ACC, my friends makes my day complete and it's really fun in there. So now I'm planning to continue my study here in ACC for second year if I get pass in my first year, but I'm sure I can do it. Because criminology is not hard but it's not that easy too we need to work hard for it to get pass. So I am now suggesting you guys to study in ACC to have more fun and to have a better experience.

My life as a criminology student

As a first-year criminology student, I’ve begun an educational and exploratory journey into the

Interesting field of crime and justice. In my classes, I’ve studied about a wide range of topics,

Such as the causes and consequences of crime, the role of the criminal justice system and law

Enforcement in society, and the various theories advanced to explain why people commit crimes.

Criminology is a complex and fascinating field that draws on a variety of disciplines to better

Understand crime and its causes. As a first-year criminology student, I’ve been exposed to a wide

Range of topics, from the social and economic factors that influence criminal behavior to the role

Of the criminal justice system in maintaining order and ensuring public safety. Through my

Coursework and research, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the complexities of crime and

    Justice in our society.

Moreover, my education in criminology has also provided me with the opportunity to participate

In fieldwork and research projects. Through volunteering at a local community center and

Working with a research team studying community-based programs’ effectiveness in reducing

Crime, I have been able to apply my knowledge and skills in real-world settings. These

Experiences have allowed me to see the positive impact of criminology in improving individuals’

    Lives and the larger community.

Being a criminology student can be difficult, but it can also be very rewarding. I consider myself

Fortunate to be able to contribute to the overarching objective of establishing a more just and

Equitable society because I work in a field that seeks to promote safety, justice, and equality in

Our society. I have a deeper understanding of the complexities of crime and justice as well as the

Significance of creating evidence-based policies and programs that can successfully address these

Issues thanks to my coursework and extracurricular activities. I’m eager to gain the skills and

Knowledge required to have a positive impact on my community as I pursue my major in criminology. I intend to keep doing volunteer work and research projects, as well as looking for
internships and other opportunities that will let me use what I've learned in practical situations.
My ultimate objective is to use my training and experience to contribute to the creation and
application of novel ideas that can lessen crime, advance social justice, and create stronger, more
    resilient communities.
In conclusion, my first year as a criminology student has been a transformative experience.
Through my studies, I've gained a deeper understanding of the complexities of crime and justice
in our society, and have been exposed to a multidisciplinary approach that draws on insights
from sociology, psychology, economics, and other fields. This has given me a broader
perspective on the issues facing our communities, and has inspired me to seek out opportunities
to apply my knowledge and skills in real-world settings. Moving forward, I am eager to continue
my education and explore different avenues for contributing to the field of criminology. Whether
through internships, research projects, or other initiatives, I am committed to making a positive
impact and advancing the cause of safety, justice, and equality in our society

My life as a BSED Student

I am a first year Bachelor of Secondary education Major in Soc-sci. I take this course ,because of my friends ,they are the one of my inspirations. They are the reason ,so I went to college. In a recent years, Im satisfied when I have a job and earn money. But when I met them ( my friends) ,they are the reason I am still looking for something and this is what I will continue my studies.

When I was in BSed department ,theres more adjustment ,that sometimes I doubt myself. That sometimes I'm asking myself, if I made the right decision. Although this is one of my dreams ,and luckily I also know some people from the past in the Entrep department. However this is the one of my decision ,that I can stand. Even there's a time my schedule are conflict. But for my dreams and the people who doubt me, I will do everything to succeed.

I'm introvert person ,that sometimes ,Im prefer to be alone. But when I was in BSed department ,my friends adviced me,that I need to be friendly and to communicate with my classmate. I can say that which is not difficult to live with them. When we are in college ,we have a lot to learn ,hreas need to survive, even in the difficult time. There's even a chance that they develop are ability ,skill and how to be handle the situation as a student(like problems ,to be patience and to be respectful).

Being student ,I'm not smart and I can't say I'm stupid either, except for one subject. But I tried and I did my best ,because my friends told me, being BSed student ,I need to work hard even it's a minor or a major subject. But even did not told me, I did my best. All the failures or whatever the inadequate that I have , I will going back to where I started and why I choose in this course. And maybe I just wanted ,be inspired and be proud of the people who trusted to me.

Being student, sometimes that we are not only under pressure in Academic ,that sometimes to the people who know us and the people around us. Even who else not our parents, they still expect the path you are taking or the profession you choose. But sometimes I just ignored them, I still focus my goal and why I'm here in this path or field that I choose. That sometimes we need to trust our self, that's why I trust myself even in the dfficult time. We need to be patience and to think positive ,even what are the challenges or struggle that we came to us. We can't even tell the time ,that sometime ,we are the one who choose the path or what we take.

My life as a criminology student
As I grow up the real challenge in life has been starting. This challenge is not an easy challenge. This kind of challenge is not just like a game but it's more than a game because this challenge is a life challenge. This challenge needs a struggle, courage and patience.
In this personal blog I will share all my experiences as a criminology student here at ACC college. I as a first year criminology student have proven that that the life of a criminology is not easy. Their are a lot of circumstances and challenge that I encountered in my life. I always ask this question to myself, Do I overcome this circumstances? Do I have a courage to face it?. I answer it by myself that, yes I can overcome it and face by putting trust on myself because circumstances is part of life challenge it can't be called as a challenge without circumstances the only thing that I need to do is to have a courage to face it.
Student life is not easy, because one of the main reason is financial many criminology student stop on their study because of financial. Their parents can't afford paying the tuition and other expenses like project, boarding house, foods and others. It also happen to me that my parents has a problem in financial. A criminology student should have a discipline and patience. Discipline is very important especially like me I'm a criminology student I practice self-discipline by attending the class on time and pass all the projects and activities on time. Sometimes I don't have self-discipline because theirs a point that I feel lazy especially if I'm lack of sleep.
One of most important also that a criminology student to do is time management. Time management help us to set the thing that we need to do. I practice time management and it helps me a lot in doing my daily life living.
All in all life of a criminology student is not an easy course. Life has a lot of challenge the only thing that we need to do is to have a courage face it in order to fullfil all our goal.

"My Life as a Criminology Student"
    As a Criminology student,
Have you ever thought about dropping out of school once in your student life?
Have you ever felt being so exhausted after school?
You did right? Just so I am. Indeed studying ain't easy, whatever degree you will pursue you will find it tiring and difficult to finish. But, just like what they always say 'Education is a weapon that no one can take it from you' and so I continue dreaming. Throughout my life as a Criminology Student there's a point in my journey where I fell into my knees and almost crawl just so I can still keep up as the time goes by.

Responsibilities. When you're under Bachelor of Science in Criminology degree you are not just a student with no means. We are students with pride accompanied by responsibilities. We have a lot of things to considered, a lot of things to put on our list and to make it sure that we are committed into that. Some may say that Criminology is the less stressful college course because we do not have a pile of school papers, that we only focused on our training such as the ROTC. However, they do not know that this course will drain and challenge you as a holistic person. It will mold your mental/intellectual, physical skills.

Aside from that, me, myself and I will testify that Criminology will also challenge your beliefs and self-doubts.
It may difficult and all but I can also say that with these course I met a lot of people who I treated as my 'homies' , brothers. Will it's the 'always look for the brighter side of each dark phenomena ' that put me to stick on what I have chosen.

Enjoy, enjoy and enjoy. I didn't suffered all throughout my journey as freshmen Criminology Student because I enjoyed it. Despite of being hard of this college course I always make sure that at the end of the day I do still enjoyed it. Where I went home, layed in my bed with an exhausted body and laugh how fun and stressed day I had been. Happiness cures everything.

Therefore, I conclude that Criminology College degree may full of red flags but it does also contains green flags. Indeed it will put you a lot of pressure and a lot of struggles but never forget to enjoy and savour every moment cause there's no other way to bring it back again. My life as a Criminology Student is not easy as a pie but it is not that hard like a rock.

“My Life as a Criminology Student”

Being a freshman student, I could only tell few things about what it is like to be a criminology student. I do not have vast experiences for the meantime. But as a criminology student, I have had many exciting experiences and investigations throughout this academic career. The study of crime's causes, effects, and solutions is fascinating; this is the area of criminology. In-depth study of this issue makes one aware of how complex criminal activity may be, having an impact on society at numerous levels at once. Though I am only on my freshman year, I have learned a lot of things.

I never imagined becoming a criminologist or picking criminology as my major in college when I was a senior in high school. I couldn't decide on anything. I'm not too serious about things. Just explaining criminology to my classmates is all I do. And I am certain that the course is not only a straightforward one to take for my college career. I thus had doubts about it. However, once I finished from high school, I became interested in criminal justice and thought it was humorous how the justice system was run. I also have many friends and acquaintances who are enrolled in BS criminology courses, and they say it isn't too difficult. Because of this, choosing criminology as a degree in college seemed like not a bad choice.

The range of topics we cover in class, from simple lectures to challenging math problems and essays, is one of my favorite things about studying criminology. Our instruction covers a wide range of topics, including the psychology of criminal behavior and the social and economic issues that affect crime. I now have a solid grasp on these subjects. I developed greater discipline in producing and finishing each assignment or work, and it took me longer to formulate my responses, but it all paid off. I still struggle coping up with the lessons but I am determined and focus on learning new skills and knowledge.

I've had the chance to meet a lot other freshmen that are as passionate about criminology. My learning experience has been boosted by the different backgrounds and distinct viewpoints of my classmates. Additionally, I've had the chance to interact with faculty members and upperclassmen who have been tremendous resources in assisting me with navigating the difficulties of college life.

I understand that I still have a lot to learn and that I have a lot of obstacles ahead of me as a freshman studying criminology. But I'm eager to learn more about the subject and acquire the abilities and information required to have a positive impact on society. I'm sure that my criminology schooling will equip me for a fruitful job in criminal justice or a similar subject.

"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"

Being a criminology student is an exciting and challenging experience that offers a unique insight into the world of crime and criminal justice. As a criminology student, I have gained a deeper understanding of the complex nature of criminal behavior, as well as the various theories, policies, and strategies used to prevent and control crime.

One of the most interesting aspects of criminology is the study of criminal behavior. This involves examining the factors that contribute to criminal activity, such as social, psychological, and environmental influences. It also involves analyzing the different types of crimes, including violent crimes, property crimes, and white-collar crimes. Through my studies, I have come to understand that criminal behavior is not simply a matter of personal choice, but is often influenced by broader societal factors.

Another fascinating area of criminology is the study of the criminal justice system. This involves analyzing the different components of the system, such as law enforcement, the courts, and corrections. It also involves examining the various policies and strategies used to address crime, such as community policing, restorative justice, and deterrence theory. As a criminology student, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the complexities of the criminal justice system, as well as the challenges of maintaining fairness, equity, and effectiveness in this system.

One of the most valuable aspects of being a criminology student is the opportunity to engage with other students and faculty members who share a passion for understanding crime and criminal justice. Through classroom discussions, group projects, and research assignments, I have had the chance to learn from a diverse range of perspectives and experiences. I have also had the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, such as internships, volunteer work, and student organizations, which have allowed me to apply my knowledge in real-world settings.

Despite the many rewards of being a criminology student, there are also some challenges to be aware of. For example, the subject matter can be emotionally challenging, as it often involves examining violent and traumatic events. Additionally, the field of criminology is constantly evolving, with new research and policies emerging all the time. As a result, it is important to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field in order to be an effective student and future practitioner.

In conclusion, being a criminology student is a rewarding and challenging experience that offers a unique insight into the world of crime and criminal justice. Through studying criminal behavior, the criminal justice system, and various policies and strategies, students gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of this field. Additionally, engaging with other students and faculty members who share a passion for criminology is a valuable opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives and experiences. While there are certainly challenges to being a criminology student, the rewards of gaining knowledge and skills in this field are well worth the effort.

I'm currently studying and pursuing a degree in criminology in Abuyog Community College, I have always wanted be a uniformed personnel, and thus it became the driving motivation for me to enter and tackle the challenges that this course has to offer, even though I am still In my first year being a criminology student I have faced a lot of challenges and learned a lot of various concept, theories and terms related to crime and criminal justice.
One of the things that I have learned in this course or being a criminology student is that crime is a complex issue that involves a lot of factors such as poverty, mental illness and inequality, for me, as a criminology student, I firmly believe that it is our duty to be aware of these elements and seek to identify practical ways to lower crime in our society, I have also learned about the history of criminology, the theories of crime and our criminal justice sytem, They also teach us in this school various methods in researsch and data analysis techniques that are used in this course, this course also teaches how to discipline ourselves.
Also, as I am studying in Abuyog community college, I have learned that most of the student in this college is mostly a student pursuing a degree in criminology, it just shows how good it is being a criminology student in this school. Here, you will most definitely test your resolve and dedication in pursuing your dreams, they put challenges and hurdles in front of you, but it is still manageable and surpassable, this types of challenges will show how you do in this types of situation and how can you manage to surpass this challenges.

This may also test Your physical and mental capabilities, and how you cope with the drain that comes with it, this challenges may also challenge you research skills, that is just a few of the challenges that i point out, there still a lot of them.

"My life as a Criminology Student"

I am a first year student from Abuyog Community College, taking up Bachelor of Science and Criminology, and I am proud ACCIANS. Way back when I was still in my senior high school journey, I doubted myself to take this path as I am not sure if I could. At the same time, I have seen countless cases, crimes here in Abuyog, Leyte and some of our fellowmen cannot commit their justice and I felt sad about this. That's why I encouraged myself to take this field as it involves understanding the causes, consequences, and prevention of crime.

Abuyog Community College offers great education especially if you are an aspiring student who wanted to be part on this program. As I studied criminology, I have learned that it requires a great deal of critical thinking, research skills, and analysis. It helped me to delve into various topics as the psychology of crime, criminological theories, the criminal justice system, and more. Of course, you will also explore the legal, ethical, and social issues related to crime and its own prevention.

Along my journey here at Abuyog Community College, I am grateful that all the instructors helped me out in shaping myself. One of the crucial and great aspects of studying here is that you will have the opportunity to engage yourself in practical experiences. This includes attending training, marching, participating in internships with criminal justice agencies, and more. These experiences will provide you with a first-hand understanding of the criminal justice system and the impact of crime on our society.

As a criminology student, I did not take this program to become famous or to drag down others, but to learn the importance of evidence-based practices in crime prevention. This means using scientific research to guidr the development of policies and programs that effectively reduce crime rates. I have also gained perspective about the role of technology in crime prevention and how it is used to investigate and solve crimes.

Furthermore, as a criminology student we are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. This includes joining student organizations such as criminal justice clubs or participating in volunteer work with community organizations. These activities literally helped us in developing leadership skills, network with professionals in the field, and gained valuable experience that will prepare each of us for our career someday in crimonology.

However, studying crimonology is not without its hard trainings and challenges. For instance, I am exposed to disturbances and sometimes graphic material that can be emotionally challenging. I also find out that most of the topics we have discussed are controversial and it requires to think critically and objectively.

Nevertheless, studying crimonology is an exciting field that you will encounter in your life. All the lessons that I have been encountered must be treasure. You need to apply it and use it, not for yourself, but for the good sake to everybody. I am humble and proud. One of the toughest and hardest course, BSCRIM, I am part of BSCRIM.

MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT

I am a college student and my chosen course is criminology, as a studemt of Aboyog Community College with a criminology course I have to be careful with my decisions or what to do at school even though I am struggling because of the lack of budget, because we are not rich and I am still far from my parents. Because I'm from Sta. Rita Samar I need to work hard to be able to finish school. And even I was a little scared at first about what course I would take, but when I think about it, I was brought to criminology because I didn't like the police when I was young. But it was when I was in senior high school that I liked it because it was for our country.

And for those graduating from senior high school today, I hope they will consider becoming a criminology student because it is fun and there is no fatigue, but it's OK at first to be tired once you get used to it, there is no fatigue. Because we have friends who will take care of us and never leave us even if we don't know you or even if we don't know you. We need to be united because the criminology course is not just about ourselves, we must help each other through hardships and comforts. There are classmates who will help us. And for those who plan to do Criminology, don't think about the hardships and fatigue, just stay awake and think that being Criminology is fun. student and to bring out the hidden talents.

And as a child who is studying Criminology, I have to continue studying, because I am an only child, it is really difficult when you are an only child and you have no one to be close to, only your parents and your classmates. Sometimes I have a hard time with the modules because there are times when I don't have a load and money pan load, so sometimes I just ask my classmates if there is an activity or not. Especially last week when I got sick with chicken pox I couldn't go to school, because of the disease I could only go to class when there was an online class because it wasn't f2f, now I'm feeling a little better.

Then I say thank you to my instructors, whether male or female, because you are kind even though I am from the same school or study, but I never once gave up and missed class, because my goal is to be able to finish college and to help my family, now I'm here, okay if I wasted the opportunity to study, this is the time to be able to do it when I'm done. Because before I didn't want to study because I thought that the college was difficult but now that I'm here I just enjoy the difficulty because if you think that it's going to be difficult, you're going to be stressed or depressed that's why some students drop out study because they don't enjoy college so I can only fight when it's over also from college.

Most of all, I thank mom and dad. Because they are there to guide me and support my course even though I am far from what they know. I just thought that it was as if they were here by my side, even though they were struggling to teach me, they were still there to teach me and I promise to my parents that I will get well so that the hardships they are going through now will not be wasted. Just so that I can study, even if I am not the best in the class, it is important that I pass my subjects and above all, when I finish of studying in college because that was my parents' dream for me and to lift them out of poverty. That all ma'am thank you.

I love my course criminology, because i challenge my brain and body in tests, i want this course because i learned to get up and make it right my mistake , there are things that are difficult so I get tired Especially when we in a training day but i enjoy it anyway, when we had training day I would wake up to eat and grow up early to get on training, frustrating but because I have a dream I enjoy all the challenge I face, on our training we cannot avoid the interruption because they are not listening that's why we are being punished

as a criminology student not just brain What is needed, strength and courage are also needed, because the path we take is full of challenges and struggles, but it is also exciting as we learn many things not just academically, but also in life Because criminology is not like other course only brain is needed, not to cook or what else, criminology is a lot of trials to deal with

criminology is not easy for people to know especially in today's study of criminology, because in criminology, without resources, you cannot buy books and projects that help you perform well and get good grades. MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT

I am a simple person with a simple dream of graduating from a course in criminology so that when the time comes i will be a full-fledged lawman or a full-fledged policeman and i can protect my town, and get help from parents. Finishing my education is not only my dream but also my parents' dream. When i chose the criminology course, i did not doubt that i followed my heart and mind. Since i was young, it was my dream to serve and protect my country. Yes, it's hard to become a criminologist, right? No dream will come true if you don't work hard for it.

The course i chose was no joke it required my courage, integrity, determination and self-confidence. And currently i am in the first year of college at the school of Abuyog Community College, Abuyog Leyte. Human life is just like that, we will go through hardships before achieving our desired dreams. The criminology life is hard when you think about it. Especially when you hear the words "as you were performed one to sawa" that we will be afraid, let us not be afraid of the hardships that we will face with the Lord in the challenge of our life.

Ignore how hard it is when you have a dream. All suffering and endurance will be replaced by success in the future. Even though blood and sweat will drop, scars and hardships of our body, ignore all that to the person who has a dream. Yes, all dreams are difficult, i want to give up but i always have in my mind how i can achieve my dreams if i give up, i will stop and there is nothing in my vocabulary to give up. So just rest when tired and fight again for the challenge of life and dreams.

They said it's just a fight so you can see me struggling but you can't see me suck. Why is that criminology course taken over and over again i heard people ask. I chose the criminology course because it has been my dream since i was a child and I want my parents to be proud of me. I chose the criminology course not to be cool and respectable but to make my family proud of me and to protect them and my town. The course i am taking is not based on the status of life, wealth and appearance are important and important respectful, respectful and disciplined people. Admittedly struggling but i will not give up because when my suffering is over it will be replaced by the fulfillment of my dream. In the criminology course i learned a lot, became disciplined and responsible. I thought our course was difficult but it turned out to be very difficult.

And this is where my own discipline is tested. I feel the spirit of unity and help. We will recognize the discipline required of every Filipino citizen. My family is the big motivation of my life. because even if they struggle to work, they endure everything so that i can study. So i will work hard and finish my studies so that i can repay their suffering for my dream. I will do everything as they did for me. Lastly, being a criminology or be part of the crime buster is fun and enjoyable together with my fellow classmates, all i can say it is so great to be an criminology student and be a criminologist someday.

“ MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT”

My life as a criminology student is full of excitement, Hardwork, and specially sacrifices. Seeing man in uniforms inspired me in choicing criminology more positively because i grew up into a chaotic place.

My journey with this course has been very hard that can cause not just me but to all criminology student to fall down. But in my personal blog i will share some of my tips to survive in first year in being a criminology student .

In criminology we all need is some sacrifice and be true to your self and most important is don't compare your self to what others have done! In another way be wisefull to choose a group of friends that can make or mold you for your future and change to be a better version of your self! And also apply being dicipline to seniors instructor or even in your own community.

As i choose criminology i know that my life would'nt be easy as i know. Specially when i join to be future rotc officer. Sometimes you can encounter some conflict between your studies in academics and rotc training.

But suddenly as days goes by it make think that having time management is important to my life and i should focus academics before rotc. With this kind of mindset make me strong and being iniative to all what i have been doing. But suddenly some problems really appear in our life just like of financial problems especially in buying some books and school fairs. That can make your emotion go down and lead you to depression.

But am very thankfull to God,Family and to all my friends and to the person who loves me i overcome this kind of problems then eventually this problems turns into motivation that lead me to study well and doing my very best in my everyday activities.

Difficulties, Struggles, stress can take you down and emotionally break you into pieces. But then realizing that my parents are facing problems more than i do. When you think most you will really realise the struggles of your parents facing right now is very hard. Eventually maybe you can't see or feel it. Because they do not want to reflect it into you.

With all of those problems. that i faced. It keep me to pursue my dreams not just because it is my dreams but to fulfill my destiny to help my parents when the comes. I want to see my father proud to me marching wearing the uniform i truly loved.

In conclusion being a criminoloy student is'nt gonna be that easy. It need focus, hard work and sacrifice. We must work wisely, correctly and with clarity apply being an well dicipline and respectful student be mindfull of all your responbilities in order to achieve greater reward. Struggles are very neccesary and don't let that be a hindrance to your future instead let this struggles be your stronghold to be a good Officer you want to be in a future.

"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"
As a criminology student, my life is a mixture of theoretical knowledge and practical experiences. It is a field of study that aims to understand the causes of crime, its patterns, and ways to prevent it. Being a criminology student, I am always curious about the social, psychological, and environmental factors that lead to criminal behavior.

My typical day as a criminology student begins with attending lectures, where we learn about various theories related to crime and criminal behavior. We learn about the social and economic factors that contribute to crime, such as poverty, unemployment, and inequality. We also study the psychological factors such as personality traits, attitudes, and cognitive processes that influence criminal behavior.

Apart from lectures of officers and teachers, I also have to do a lot of reading to keep up with the course materials. I have to read books, articles, and academic journals related to criminology to gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Reading helps me to think critically and develop my analytical skills, which are essential in the field of criminology.

In addition to lectures and reading, I also participate in practical experiences such as internships and volunteer work. This is a crucial part of my life as a criminology student because it helps me to apply the theories that I have learned in class to real-world situations. For example, I have worked as a volunteer in a local prison where I had the opportunity to interact with inmates and understand their experiences. This experience gave me insights into the challenges faced by those who have been incarcerated, and how society can help them to reintegrate into the community.

Another practical experience that I have had as a criminology student is an internship with a local law enforcement agency. During this internship, I was able to see firsthand how law enforcement works to prevent and solve crimes. I learned about the different strategies used by law enforcement agencies to combat crime and how they work with the community to maintain public safety.

Apart from academic and practical experiences, being a criminology student has also taught me to be more aware of my surroundings. I am more observant of the people and situations around me, and I am better equipped to identify potential risks and threats. This awareness has helped me to develop a greater sense of responsibility towards my community, and I am always looking for ways to make a positive impact.

In conclusion, my life as a criminology student is a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical experiences. It is a challenging but rewarding field of study that requires a lot of dedication and hard work. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in this field and look forward to using my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in society

"My life as a Criminology Student "

Am a first-year Criminology student in Abuyog Community College absolutely love my course. My interest in criminology grew whilst I lived in Trinidad with high crime rates and wondering as a young child why there were more crimes in certain communities/ areas than others. From day one of being at Lancaster, I loved my modules. I particularly enjoyed learning about the various explanations of crime and the ways in which race influences experiences of the criminal justice system. Every time I attend a Criminology lecture, I am excited to tell my friends about what I learned.

If anyone is considering coming to Lancaster University, it is the best decision you will ever make. One of the best things about being in the Criminology Department at Lancaster is the support you receive from staff. When I first started, I was quite nervous, mainly because I was not sure if I would fit in. I didn’t need to worry so much as I was made to feel instantly welcome and was signposted to where I needed to go if I was struggling or finding things difficult. I found having this support really helpful.

One thing that is unique about studying Criminology at Lancaster is the fact that you get a chance to pick minor subjects to study alongside your major subject in your first year. You can choose from a range of subjects, both those that are related to Criminology (in my case) or from across the university. I chose Psychology and Politics as my minors and, so far, I have gained so much information that links with Criminology and helps me with my essays and criminological knowledge.

I cannot stress enough the number of academic opportunities available for students at Lancaster. There is always something going on that can improve key skills. For instance, there are writing skills workshops for Criminology students, which provide support with structuring and writing essays. One opportunity I am particularly interested in is the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Placement Year, offering the opportunity to work in industry for a year. There are many other work and voluntary experience opportunities available throughout the Criminology degree.

One skill that I have learned whilst being at University is time management. There is extensive support available, but independent learning and thinking is important to develop your knowledge. Staff at Lancaster really help with the transition from College to University, so it is much less daunting.

Working within criminology requires a wide range of skills that include dedication, reliability, concentration and the ability to remain professional and I believe that I posses these skills.

My Life as a Criminology Student

Last year 2022, I started studying here in Abuyog Community College as First Year Criminology Student. My experience as a First Year Criminology Student here in ACC, was not that easy because of the reasons of; I just lived in a small Boarding House which I’m just the one who cooks for myself, and who do all the chores. Living separately with my parents is hard, eventhough I am independent in living alone sometimes I miss them and sometine I get homesick.

As months go by, I am used to live alone without my parents. I go to school every synchronous/ Face to face schedule only. Because our schedule is not well quite arranged. And every Sunday is ROTC day. This day is the most tiring day because of the trainings we will attend. But eventually, it is fun and enjoyable at the same time I make good friends with others easily and we get along very well.

Also one of the things to learn about becoming a Criminology Student is that all movements must be quick and careful and you must be strong and reduce your feelings that are not good and you must be obedient to what is commanded of you by the higher and above everything if it's ROTC day you should wake up early so you won't be late even if you stay up late you should be early to be on time.

Sometimes I do not understand some of my Subject lessons because I’m not a fast learner but I always try my best to understand each lesson.

Being a Crim Student is very challenging, we are quite disciplined, we have to respect the high ranks/grades/officers and most especially Teachers/Professors and Instructors. It is challenging because we are studying and at the same time we are training too. But I know someday all my hardworks will pay off someday and I’ll repay my parents and for those people who believes in me most especially my girlfriend too. I know someday I will be successful with God by my side.

My Life As a Criminology Student

The criminology student's lifestyle is what? It's either hard or simple. Because it's just a gun, perhaps a lot of people think the criminal justice student is an easy target. They're unaware of how challenging it is, though.

Being a criminology student, I can state that it's joyful, depressing, challenging, and occasionally simple. While there are many things you can perform, a criminology student may occasionally be able to do everything, including farming, cooking, designing, and enhancing security. I can say no more at this time, but there is more. Almost everyone should be kind, caring, and hardworking on the inside as well as the outer. He understands their work and what we should do at the school, not just in the school but also in the town, as I am a criminology student myself. We need to be knowledgeable about the legislation as well.

Hence, to those who claim that studying criminology is simple, I can attest from personal experience that it is not, as our daily service obligations are already imprinted on us as criminology students.

My life as a criminology student

Spending time at Abuyog Community College training to become a police is a roller coaster ride. As a first-year criminology student, I feel honored and proud as ever that I chose this path. I fell in love with my course, and my passion for service grew and sparked more than ever.

I would not negate the fact that studying may be taxing at times- the journey is tough and full of roadblocks and detours. Nonetheless, despite the countless sleepless nights, and sudden breakdowns, I am glad that I was given the opportunity to delve deep into subjects that helped me foster a deeper understanding and awareness of my community.

When I enrolled in this course, I have one objective in my mind, that is to “end crimes”, however learning from the concepts, and exposing myself to reality through discourses in the class, I finally came to see the real world. And I now genuinely accepted the fact and agree with Emile Durkheim and his remark that “crime is inevitable and a part of the social life”. However, despite the harsh realization- that crime is inevitable, there are ways that we can help society alleviate crimes and maintain peace and order. For an instance, investigation, advocate genuine social justice and change , and understanding the very root cause why crime is committed and what is crime in general.

In our class, I am training to protect the defend-less, be the protector of those that cannot safeguard themselves, enforce the law, and serve justice to the ones that are deprived of it. Thus, I am striving to learn of all the concepts, and the takeaways that are essential for me to be able to become an effective public servant in the future. Because if not, what change will I contribute in the society? I am not attending school just because of the cool uniform and the pride that is attached to the school id that I wear, I am dedicating this for the community, for the better good. I aspire to become an advocate for the sincere revival of justice that is accessible to all the citizens irrespective of gender and social class. I yearn to help in the effort of addressing this collective dilemma, and I am one of the few that cries for authentic justice for all.

Choosing to trek this path is never easy, especially in this time where crime is rampant and injustices and a rottenly maneuvered justice system are pervasive. But, I will not quit- I would do this for my loved ones whose calloused hands ensured me the privilege to keep to my studies despite all the struggles have conjured, peers and teachers who have not built only intellect but also character, and friends whose company has always been so precious and true, strangers, who, in their way, kept the will of a student surviving by grit and smart intact with their kindness, and above all, the masses, to whom the fruits of this education are dedicated.

"My Life as a Criminology Student"

As a first-year criminology student, I have grown to understand how broad and complicated the study of crime and its effects on society has been. From the theories of criminal behavior to the intricacies of the criminal justice system, my experience thus far has been both enlightening and challenging. My interest in criminology was inspired by a strong desire to appreciate the underlying causes of crime and the cultural elements that influence its occurrence. The idea of deviation and the manner in which people depart from established standards have always attracted me. Thus, criminology seemed like the perfect field of study for me.
One of the most memorable aspects of my experience as a criminology student thus far has been the opportunity to learn from experienced and knowledgeable professors. Their insights and guidance have been invaluable in shaping my understanding of the subject matter. I have been particularly impressed by the passion and dedication they bring to their teaching and research, which has inspired me to work harder and strive for excellence.
Another aspect of my life as a criminology student that I have thoroughly enjoyed is the opportunity to engage with my peers and discuss different perspectives on crime and justice. The diversity of ideas and experiences within our cohort has led to some thought-provoking discussions and debates, which have expanded my understanding of the subject matter and challenged my preconceptions. However, being a criminology student also comes with its fair share of challenges. The workload can be intense at times, and there is a lot of reading and writing required to keep up with the coursework.
Additionally, the subject matter can be emotionally taxing, particularly when we discuss topics such as violent crime or victimization. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the support system I have in my fellow students and professors, who are always willing to lend an ear and offer advice. These basic courses, which make you examine the often-taken-for-granted systems of justice, are those that I have found one of the most interesting and informative aspects of the major. I am confident that taking this course will help me realize all of my future goals, and I am eager to begin studying a field in which I have a strong interest.I became interested in criminology because I had a passionate desire to understand the root causes of crime and the societal factors that affect it. I've always been curious to the concept of deviations and how people break from social norms.
In conclusion, my time spent as a first-year criminology student has been rewarding and educational. Despite some difficulties along the way, I have learnt a great deal about the complexities of crime and justice and have been motivated to continue my research and study in this area. I look forward to where my studies in criminology will take me in the future. Overall, I think that majoring in criminology has given me a better understanding of how the justice system functions as well as a larger comprehension of how injustice and disadvantage present themselves in society as well as a greater desire to address these problems. I'm going to work really hard in this course, challenge myself, and be capable of working both independently and with others.

“My Life as a Criminology Student”

Criminology, by hearing it, things such; crimes, investigations, weapons, etc. would cross my mind.

I am a first year criminology student in Abuyog Community College, and I definitely love my course. My interest in learning and taking criminology is for me to study and be knowledgeable enough about how crime occurs, how the process runs, and how it is solved. When I was young, this is something that I've dreamed of, to be able to take this course, and now that I am already on my first year of college with this, I'm delighted. And I am now persevering and trying to determine if I can really do it. Everytime I would attend our lectures, I tend to share what I learn about it to my classmates, and so the importance of studying or learning it.

As a criminology student, I would say it's never easy. Everything that we do, we worked so hard for it, I'm not being exaggerated but I indeed gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this. Being a weakling has no room on this course as we have to be strong, brave and tough all the time. I would often hear the phrases like, “ah, criminology? madali lang yan” and some sort of I must say “discrimination” but it's not true, they don't see us struggling and their words only goes with the winds. Needless to say, entering criminology world would take you on a bumpy road, it's quiet challenging.

Being a criminology student, we are taught to be disciplined and respectful, with our fellowmen/countrymen, with our instructors, with those who are above us in ranks/position, and of course respect to ourselves. We are taught and told to be diligent, to be a good follower with the rules and policies that they regulated, orders and all. As anything you'd do, inside or outside the campus, in uniform or not, there will always be feedbacks.

Also, about time management which is very much important too. For us to be able to do our duties and assignments on time within the given time duration. And of course, reading books and research related to criminology, as through this we will have an alotted knowledge that could help us to pass on our exams, especially when it comes to our licensure exams in the near future. And also, we can use this as one of our weapons, we do know that “education”is one of most powerful weapons we have and that's something that no one can take away from us, and by this, we would be able to save ourselves from anything that might happen given that we know the laws that we have, we know what's right or wrong.

And when the right time comes, my future, I could say that everything that I worked hard for, has already payed off. All those times that I experienced so much stress with my time, studies, tests, activities, and so the never ending exhaustion, will be worth it. Someday, everything that I dreamed of would finally come to my hands. I'd have a good and stable job, to have a great life, to be able to give my family the means of having a not-so-financially-problematic life. They won't experience hunger, and stress with things they think can't have because of money. As I am here, being able to provide and give them their needs and wants.

I am a 1st year college student now and I'm so grateful because I passed the entrance exam in my dream course in Abuyog Community College which is a BSCRIMINOLOGY. I didn't expect that this course would be difficult because others said there was no math but there was , I thought it was just " baril - barilan" lang , but I said to myself I can do it and I can handle it for my dream.

As a criminology student their are many challenges and struggles but their are exciting that we learn thing not just in academic but also in how to protect ourself and they teach me how to obey and have a time management and it helped me to become a good student. I enjoyed learning about the various explanations of crime, criminal behavior and everything about laws.

In this course I lost my shyness because of the ROTC my hidden talent will come out because the officers will force me and if I don't they are punishing us. Instead of being angry I'm more grateful because they are building my confidence and to socialize with others. I choose this course not to impress with others but to make my family proud and I want to help other people who need a justice. This is where I learned to have a unity and not be arrogant.

Many people specially my parents ask me why I took this course but I smiled and said it is my dream and I want to become a policewoman someday. I am happy and thankful because my family also supports me and they gave me courage to persevere in my studies and to achieve my dream. I faced a big problem now it is a financial because I thought the tuition is free but it wasn't but I'm so very thankful to the teachers of the Abuyog Community College because they will do there best to get back the Free Higher Education. But this is not the obstacle for me to not continue my studies and there are many ways to pay for it. So I will work hard to finish my studies and have a good job someday and so that I can make up the suffering of my parents.

Lastly being a Criminology student is not easy there are many challenges but this challenges make me stronger I'm in the exciting part and there are many more test to come but I always pray to God that I will get overcome this. Being a Criminology student is fun and enjoy, and I am happy because I am one of them.

I am a first -year Criminology Student at Abuyog Community College and I love my course and school, As a criminology student, I will be studying the causes, consequences, and prevention of crime. I will be delving into various aspects of criminal behavior, including its social, psychological, and environmental influences.
My studies will likely cover a range of topics, including the history and philosophy of crime, the criminal justice system, criminal law and procedure, criminological theories, victimology, and forensic science.Being student ,I'm not smart and I can't say I'm stupid either, except for one subject. As a Criminology students also have so many talents they can dance, sing and many other sports. But they can't show it in the reason that maybe they're shy, maybe don't have opportunity or time, or maybe they're just hiding it. Even though you don't really havea talent the officers will force you to have a talent, in a minute you will have it because if you don't they are punishing us.

To excel in my studies, I need to have a keen analytical mind, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations. And need to be able to conduct research, analyze data, and communicate your findings effectively through both written and oral presentations.
To my coursework, you may have the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships, volunteer work, or research assistantships. These experiences can help me build my skills and knowledge, and may also help network with professionals in the field.Overall, studying criminology can be both challenging and rewarding. It is a field that offers a deep understanding of the complex nature of crime, and can lead to a wide range of career opportunities in law enforcement, policy making, research, and more

"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"

I'm Samantha Balagon,19 years old. I'm currently enrolled in the Bscriminology program at Abuyog Community College. To be honest, my life as a criminology student has been a fascinating journey thus far, yet a constant exploration of the complex world of crime and its effects on society. All I knew was that I was interested in the study of crime and that I wanted to understand why people commit criminal acts. As I progressed through this program, I learned far more than I could have imagined.

The first thing I noticed about being a criminology student was that it involves far more than merely learning theories and concepts. It additionally involves comprehending the real-world implications of those theories and concepts. For example, we learned about different types of crimes, such as white-collar crimes, cybercrimes, and hate crimes. However, we also discussed the impact of those crimes on society and the victims.

Of course, being a criminology student is not without its challenges. One of the biggest challenges I have faced is the amount of reading required for each course. Criminology is a complex field, and there is a lot of literature to cover. It can be overwhelming at times, but I have learned to manage my time effectively and prioritize my necessities.

Another challenge is balancing school with work and personal life. Criminology is a demanding field, and it requires a lot of time and energy to succeed. However, I have found that by staying organized and focused, I can manage my workload effectively. One of the most rewarding experiences of being a criminology student is the opportunity to apply what I have learned in real-world situations. It will helped me understand the practical applications of criminology and have prepared me for a career in the field.

In conclusion, my life as a criminology student has been a fascinating journey so far. I have learned so much about the study of crime, the real-world implications of criminal behavior, and the practical applications of criminology. I have also faced challenges, such as managing my workload and balancing school with work and personal life. However, these challenges have helped me grow as a student and a person, and I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion for criminology. I look forward to continuing my education in this field and making a positive impact on society.

My life as a criminology student I am a first-year Criminology student and I absolutely love my course. My interest in criminology grew whilst I lived in mahaplag with high crime rates and wondering as a young child why there were more crimes in certain communities/ areas than others. From day one of being at Abuyog, I loved my course I particularly enjoyed learning about the various explanations of crime and the ways in which race influences experiences of the criminal justice system. Every time I attend a Criminology lecture, I am excited to tell my friends about what I learned.

If anyone is considering coming to Abuyog community, it is the best decision you will ever make. One of the best things about being in the Criminology Department at Abuyog is the support you receive from staff. When I first started, I was quite nervous, mainly because I was not sure if I would fit in. I didn’t need to worry so much as I was made to feel instantly welcome and was signposted to where I needed to go if I was struggling or finding things difficult. I found having this support really helpful.

One thing that is unique about studying Criminology at Abuyog is the fact that you get a chance to pick minor subjects to study alongside your major subject in your first year. You can choose from a range of subjects, both those that are related to Criminology (in my case) or from across the community. I chose Psychology and Politics as my minors and, so far, I have gained so much information that links with Criminology and helps me with my blog and criminological knowledge.

I cannot stress enough the number of academic opportunities available for students at Abuyog There is always something going on that can improve key skills. For instance, there are writing skills workshops for Criminology students, which provide support with structuring and writing blog. One opportunity I am particularly interested in is the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Placement Year, offering the opportunity to work in industry for a year. There are many other work and voluntary experience opportunities available throughout the Criminology degree.

One skill that I have learned whilst being at community is time management. There is extensive support available, but independent learning and thinking is important to develop your knowledge. Staff at Abuyog community really help with the transition from College to Community, so it is much less daunting.

Apart from academic studies, it is important to balance this with your social life and extra curricular activities. I am part of an initiative called The Diplomatic Youth Association and we ensure that children who have had difficult upbringings/ backgrounds in Mahaplag and have a chance to get a good education by making them aware of the opportunities in the world that they can access once they believe in themselves and do their work. Although I am in England, I do my part by making sure my family at home keeps the group active and beneficial to the children.

My Life As a Criminology Student

Ricky Bacor is my name, and I am a first-year student of criminology. As a first-year student studying criminology, I've recently grown to enjoy this course.
A typical day in the life of a criminologist includes interviews with victims, perpetrators, investigators, and others who have knowledge about crime or societal factors influencing the behaviors. I am a determined, enterprising, and driven student who is able to use my own initiative. I work well under pressure both as part of a team and independently where I have the capability to excel on my own in difficult situations.
I am interested in the factors that contribute to criminal behavior and potential safeguards against it. Criminologists study both individual criminal activities and how they ultimately affect society. Psychology, criminal law, and law enforcement statistics are also studied by criminology majors.Crime control and prevention are criminology's main goals. We hear about horrible crimes done against women and children in our society much too frequently.

That's what I'm often asked. Why did you choose or will you choose BS Criminology? Especially if all you hear is that it's an easy course, no math, no English, and nothing much to study. The course is said to be filled with reprimanded students. Is it me? Since enrollment until now that I have taken this course BSCRIM at ABUYOG COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

I chose it because I WANT TO BE A POLICE OFFICER. Not because I look handsome and arrogant when in uniform, not because the salary is high, not because my life and my family will be stable but because this is what I want, TO BE AN INSTRUMENT OF GOD TO SERVE AND PROTECT OUR FELLOWMEN AND TO LEAVE MY MARK AS A JUST&RIGHTEOUS ENFORCER IN THE FIELD OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. Without fear, favor, malice or ill will, I will fulfill this goal of mine soon...

One of my biggest attributes is to help other people where enabled to do this.Going into a school, it’s an unpredictable environment as you never know what each day is going to bring, something else that I have learnt to adapt to and is like working within crime as that is also unpredictable. I believe the skills that I have are more than suited to a potential career in criminology, I am good at problem solving, I am adaptable to different situations, I can manage time, I am self-confident and am great at handling pressure. I have fully participated within the school community and picked up many skills along the way which I can use in the future.
I am interested in studying Criminology for the mere purpose of wanting to fulfil a deeper understanding of the causes and consequences of crime and exploring how crime affects our society. The workings of the human mind intrigue me. I am looking forward to analysing what crime is and what exactly is classified as criminal behaviour. I have a philosophy; a way of thinking. There is always something new to learn, the most important thing is to hold curiosity in simply listening. I desire to be accepted on this course primarily because learning further has no limits and I plan on taking this opportunity first-hand. I desire to enhance my knowledge about the criminal mind, means of how we conduct ourselves and understanding why crime is such a substantial part of our world. "My Life as a Criminology Student"

Coming from Jaro,Leyte, I am Janice E. Agres a BSCRIMINOLGY student in Abuyog Community College. Moving away from home to another community for my studies was one of the most challenging times for me, meant that I had to adjust to the culture and it took time for me to get to used of their language and the environment here. When I first started looking for a school that have my choosen program. It is the Abuyog Community College that was first recommend to me by my friends. Way back when I am in my senior high school, our school conducted a seminar on how to choose what we want to be in the future. This changed my whole outlook on what I wanted to do with my life.

I am a first year student at Abuyog community college. As a criminology student is very difficult in the first place. I experience sleepless nights, headaches, body pain and etc. Being a college student is more difficult than high school life . You need to be serious and give a lot of effort.Sometimes I struggle also in taking a bath because I am not the only one who will use the bathroom. The expenses also is one of the struggle for my family in renting my bhouse, allowance and also the tuition fee. I think of stopping my studies because there is so much expenses but my parent push me to continue. They said that we will find ways to finance it and that's it I thank them for giving me hope.
Sometimes when going to school i didn't eat my breakfast just bit of coffee to manage my allowance so it will take longer until the week is end I need to find cheaper food because I don't have a choice to buy some expensive food for lunch through the limited allowance sometimes I find some vegetable in the back yard and cook it for my dinner and find a way to be healthy becuase no one can take care of me when i get sick not like when I'm home that my mother buy my medicine and cook food for me but in college I am the only one who will do that bécause I need to be strong even I am not feeling well. One time happen in midnight I felt lonely and I really cried because I miss my family. I felt the urge to go home but I don't have money. I always pray to God that whatever I do guide me and help me. I talk to HIM when sometimes there's something bothering me and after that I felt okay and ready to fight again.

The subject is shifting and it has a 3 shift by semester. It is one of the reason why I like in ACC because of the schedule. I've got my free time after class when we don't have a work to do and I bond with my friends and we go to the sea to relax and enjoy the day. It is the advantage for us because there is a shifting which is the subject is divided. And also I like the most is that our instructors gives consideration to the students who can't attend online class and they give second chance in terms of submitting the activities. They are not strict like in other schools and always make sure that the student will gain knowledges about the lesson. Mostly our majors are conducted face to face and the minors are online class.

A lot of skill that I have learned while I am staying in abuyog first is time management. I know how to manage my time and do my task always before the deadline. I become independent person, I cook my food, wash my dishes and clothes and also clean my room. A lot of changes happen when I got to college. I always save money everyday even if the foods is really addicting and convincing me to buy them. It is really hard when you are alone and no one will be their for you. Your family that always guide you and advice on what will you do. But as time goes by I realized that it is the time that I can stand on my own and decide for myself.

My name is John Paul b Lolo age 19 years old a first year college criminology before but still to be a police officer even though we play my lovely guns that I think will come the day when I will be a police I can afford to be able to make it my dream and to be able to serve the Philippines as our most beloved country. If I were to make a police officer I would do everything I could to make my family a good service and to help me with my family because we were just struggling to eat every day so I would improve I was studying so that we would not have too much to eat every day.

My interest sparked when I became interested in the mind and human behavior ever since grade school. Criminology is the study of crimes, effects, and social impact on society. Criminologist job is to observe the behavior of criminals and seek out why the crime was committed, this is in order to reduce the rate of future criminal behavior. Their job duties also include writing research papers and articles. This is a job that I feel that I will pursue because of my love for writing and also my desire to better our society.

From what I have learned as a student of criminology, we know how to act carefully based on what the teachers teach and many others teach me, instructing a student is not easy, especially now in ACC, my tuition is difficult, I don't know If my parents will only pay for my tuition, I too will have a hard time going shopping when my parents will be gentle with me because of the tuition at ACC. Many have stopped studying here at ACC because of the size of the tuition fees because their parents know where to get money just to pay for the tuition.

The criminology course is not easy. It's also difficult sometimes. I just think about whether I'm going to be a father or not because of the high tuition at ACC, but as long as my parents can afford me to continue, I'll do everything I can for the dream of My parents' dream is to do everything to finish as long as my parents can afford to send me to school, so just work hard in studying as long as my parents can afford to make me study even though they will have to work hard.

As a criminology student, we must follow the orders of those who are above us. It is expected that we will be disciplined, we can do nothing but the orders of those above us. If someone does not follow their rules and their orders we will all be punished, so we need unity for our own sake, the punishment is like a payment for all the wrong things we do.

I am Erika C. Superable a first year criminology student in Abuyog Community College, My Life as a criminology student is not easy, their is many challenges, struggles. At first I know it wasn't easy but if you really want and love the course you will do everything to achieve if even sometimes you struggle financially, emotionally and physically.
Studying Criminology would allow me to then go into a career were I will be able to benefit my community and other people. You have to try something challenging and interesting in the field you choose. Criminology means you must be good at dealing with the public. Studying Criminology can help my skills to deal other people, and help them.
Going into a school it's an unpredictable environment to us criminology student as we never know what each day is going to bring, sometimes we have activities to do, and not because we are a criminology students we are only studying to investigate crime, to solve problem or different situations.
We are also studied on how to be a good responsible and have a self confidence and to manage time so that we or I can use it in the future.
Studying Criminology is not my first choice, but when I started studying to it I became interested in the activities, the tasks and I am hoping since am still in first year and I have many more years to learn what should be known about criminology.
And as a criminology student it is necessary to sacrifice and endure the hardships as a student in order to finish my study and to help my family, Sometimes it's really hard cause we don't have enough money to pay for the school fee. Because me and my brother both studying here at Abuyog Community College with same course.

What exactly is a Bachelor of Science in criminology course?
What am I thinking choosing this kind of course?why should I choose this course?. I am a college student of a course of Bachelor of Science in criminology sharing my life as a criminology student. I can't figure out in my mind why I chose this course but I know myself I won't regret chosing this course. They said I will learned a lot in this course so I try to enroll and I pass and now I'm continue studying in this course and it is true that I will learn more. The course Bachelor of Science in criminology is a 4 years degree program that studies crime and the various agencies of justice roles as they operate and react to crime , criminals, and victims. And this is the one of the reason why I liked this course and it is also because of my personality and way of thinking who likes to discover things.

I don't know why I am like that but I am obsessed with like this. Sometimes when I'm bored I used to search in internet about the different crimes cases and I am prepared reading it even though it is long. Many people tell me that I should to choose other courses but it didn't stop my will and my wants I am now studying at Abuyog Community College in Abuyog, Leyte as a 1st year college of this course. But we know that no matter what you want to get it is not easy like that there are always an obstacle in our path. One of them is having a tuition as a student that once I thought about quitting in school because my parents can't support me and I'm thankful that it was solved because we found a way to pay for it.

No one has been successful without going through hardships and we know it's hard to study in college but for our family and the dream we want to fulfill, it will never be an option to quit and it is the way to motivate ourselves to do better and to keep going.

Because of this course I learned how to improve my self and become a disciplined person and a socialized person in a good manners. Choosing this course and enjoying it will never stop because it is my chosen course and I am fully committed to it. And everything I learned in school has been adopted in my life.

I am grateful that my parents is supporting me in my studies because they know that I am doing fine and better in school and they know that I am enjoying it. This is another reason that I should to continue to dream and keep going because I see the hardworking they are doing so that I can continue studying. I know it is hard to study but it is harder in the part of my parents so the way I thought of now that will help them to ease their tiredness of the whole working day is to show them that I am doing my best and I am working hard in school by giving them at the end of the semester a good and better grades.

All courses are difficult but as a student we should not rely on it we should focus on our studying and goals in life nothing is difficult when you is persistent and you have a self discipline. I also learned that studying should be enjoyed be enjoyed despite the trials that go through. Even though I didn't reach any but little by little I learned that I should to work hard while studying . I am John Kenneth Frilles and this is my life as a criminology student.

"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"

So I enrolled in my dream course, from then until now, I just want to share my life as a Criminology student. Criminology was the course I wanted. So this is it, When class started I was still too shy because I was changing, because not the same in my high school days that my classmates are still the same, now that I'm in college there are a lot of new people, So that's how school started, First I'm so happy for the first meet with my new classmates because and I'll make new friends, and that time I'm always so excited to go to in school early and talk to my new classmates, I'm also excited that there will be activities given by our instructor.

After a few months, I became close to many of my classmates, they all became my friends, sometimes I was shy but that's okay, sometimes I was able to plan to bond outside of school wherever we went with our other classmates, many people said here in college have true friends, even in complicated lives, they will never leave you.

Of course, time also passes when my classmates and I are separated, this is the time when I am a bit lazy and I am not excited about what will happen in those days. They say it's really fun at first, but others say that when you're in college, you just enjoy your life even if you're too lazy to study, so sometimes I said I'll just stop, but I'm still here and I'm still fighting for any activities or exams.

I'm here at the part of my life where sometimes I go to school without eating, because I go to school early sometimes, I also lack of sleep sometimes because there is ROTC, I go to school early on ROTC day so I wake up early sometimes as early as 2AM in the morning Every day I wake up to eat rice, it's just rice, sometimes I can eat, sometimes I don't have anything because I can't afford to buy foods sometimes, because my parents send me is just enough to pay my bills in school, just like books for every subject.

And I'm at the point where I really want to quit because there are so many fees, especially for tuition, sometimes I ask my self if my father and mother have enough money to pay may bills/fees here in school?and I said sometimes to my self, I wish I didn't take college, I wish I'd just worked, but I have a girlfriend always told me na its okay all problem have a solutions if you really prefer this course. Being a Criminology student is so hard I can go to school without eating for attendance I don't even sleep sometimes for my activities to pass in exact deadline. Being Criminology is so really hard but I'm here still standing because there's many people always give me a reasons to fight every challenge that comes in my life and also my Mother and Father always there for me. Criminology course is so hard but I'm here still standing for my future career. Still Fighting.

MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT

Welcome to my first blog post, in which I'll describe a normal day in the life of an Abuyog Community College criminology student. Then I'll discuss a typical day on my course after briefly introducing myself and the reasons I chose my course.
My name is Melvin Suganob. At the age of 19, I began my journey as a criminology student at Abuyog Community College. I chose this course because I have a compelling reason for doing so. I grew up seeing my family being bullied because no one in our entire "Suganob Family" graduated college or even high school. They are not only verbally but also physically abusive. They are taking advantage of their professions in some ways. And I promise myself that I will graduate and that I will show them that we are strong, brave, and that they are mistaken.
It is not easy to be a criminology student. It is not only about how fast you can run, how strong you are, or how brave you are. It also necessitates perseverance, knowledge, skill, and patience. During our training, our Seniors taught us to be patient rather than fast. You must properly manage your emotions because, especially if this is your first year in criminology, you will face numerous challenges and obstacles, and believe me, you will give up if you are not patient enough. You must remain focused and motivated at all times in order to overcome any obstacles that may arise.
I recall those days when we had no rights or power to speak up; all we had to do was obey and breathe. When we have to stay outside in the hot sun, the temperature is high enough to cook an egg in the pan. It was extremely hot, and we were both exhausted and thirsty. Our Senior is not there to provide us with water, but rather to tease us and discourage us from continuing. Instead of holding a grudge against them, I use it as motivation because I know they are only testing our patience and love for this course. I recall getting up as early as most people. I need to get up around 3:30 a.m. to prepare, and I need to get to school as early as possible because if I'm late, I'll be punished, and all of my mates will suffer as well. Of course, I don't want that to happen. Because criminology has the rule that "mistake of one, mistake of all."
Furthermore, all of the exhausting and tiresome activities that we engage in are very different. If you want to finish the course, you must really encourage yourself to keep going. Because the majority of physical activities are exhausting. I even saw a few of my mates drop out due to how exhausting and difficult it is. Not to mention the minor subjects that we must deal with. Imagine how tired we are during training and then going home as if nothing happened and continuing with our lives. We sometimes only get 2 to 3 hours of sleep because we have to deal with assignments, reports, and activities on minor and even major subjects after training.
Apart from that, I still find time to spend with my friends and family. I spent my free time with them and cherish those moments with them because I know how hectic my schedule is. So that concludes my time as a criminology student. I hope I was able to inspire some of you. But before I go, if you are planning to take this course, I want you to know the following: first and foremost, you must be interested in learning about various fields. You must maintain a positive attitude in order to develop a focused and critical mind. You will be dealing with a variety of psychological behaviors, and you must understand why those behaviors occur.

"My life as a criminology student"

I am a first year criminology student of Abuyog community college, my college life is not easy because I was born in a simple family and sometimes I was short on money so sometimes I work when I don't have a school to help my family and study. but even so, I will continue to work hard in my studies because ever since I was a child it has been my dream to become a police officer someday.

Since I was a full fledged criminology student, I am very happy and because I know that is the beginning of my dream if I just study or work hard. But here I also learned that it is not easy to become a criminology student because there is a lot of study and do to become a full fledged police officer but that's okay because this is the way for my dream and for a better future, I will continue even though it's hard and I will make my parents proud of having me.

I'm so very thankful and blessed because my parents are always there to support me in my dream even if I'm stubborn sometimes they are not still get tired of supporting me and they are my inspiration and gave me the courage to handle all of this. I promise to my parents that I will finish my studies and have a job so that I can repay them for their suffering for me.

I'm introvert person but in this course I lost my shyness because of the ROTC the officers are forcing me to release my talent and If I don't obey, my classmates and I will punish. But I am grateful because they strengthen my courage and I know how to get along with others. In this course I learned how to obey and have a time management and it help me to boost my confidence and to practicing self discipline.

Lastly being a criminology student is not easy but I try my best and I will do everything because I have a dream and I know in myself that I can do it and I can handle it and being a criminology student is fun and enjoyable.

"My Life as a Criminology Student"

As a criminology student, my days are filled with exploring the fascinating world of crime, delinquency, and justice. From studying the causes and patterns of crime to understanding the criminal justice system, my coursework has opened up a world of intrigue and curiosity that I never knew existed.
I chose to study criminology because I have always been interested in understanding why people commit crimes and how society responds to criminal behavior. It is a field that requires a deep understanding of human behavior, the law, and the social, economic, and cultural factors that contribute to crime. With every lecture and every assignment, I am learning more about the complexities of criminal behavior and the challenges that face our justice system.
One of the most exciting aspects of my studies is the opportunity to learn the ROTC training. This is difficult but I can do it for my dream, this is also where my ability and physical strength will be tested because the training of ROTC is so hard. It is also the best thing that happened in my life because this is where I learned that respect is not only for the elderly but for everyone whether black, white, Islam, INC, whatever your religion is. I am constantly putting my skills and knowledge into practice. It was amazing to see how our training will be successfully done.
Of course, being a criminology student also comes with its challenges. The coursework can be demanding and requires a lot of critical thinking and analysis. The subject matter can also be quite heavy and emotionally taxing at times, as we explore some of the darkest aspects of human behavior. However, I have found that the support of my fellow students and professors has been invaluable in helping me navigate these challenges.
Despite the demands of my studies, I wouldn't trade my life as a criminology student for anything. It is a field that is constantly evolving, and I feel fortunate to be on the front lines of this important work. I know that my education and experiences will prepare me for a career where I can make a real difference in the lives of others and contribute to a safer, more just society.

My Life as a Criminology Student

I am now a Criminology student in Abuyog community college, I am Joel-Jay T. Arambala I am 19 years old, a first year college student. Being a Criminology student is not easy like other people say, because you must maintain your GWA or general weighted average because in Criminology 85% is the qualified GWA. Back in highschool life, I'm afraid that I won't be able to take the course criminology because I thought that my GWA wouldn't reach 85% because I didn't study well because it's only modular and I don't like that. I told myself it's okay if I can't take criminology because there are many other courses to take. When I calculated my GWA, I was happy because my GWA was 88% and told myself that I take the course criminology.

My life as a criminology student is not easy because of the daily commute to Abuyog Community College. It's not easy because my father only works as a laborer and my mother is only a house wife. We have a motorcycle, but we don't have gas every day, so we are late sometimes because we are still looking for a way to get gas. It's not easy to travel every day because of the many accidents that happen on the road today, so double be careful when driving.

As a criminology student we respect our instructors, seniors and other higher ups with the side step and for giving the way when we encounter them. Criminology students need to be on time of their call, we have to be nice and respectful everytime. Criminology students also have some talents like dancing, singing, and many others like sports. Even though you don't really have a talent the officers will force you, and you must perform because of the rules (bawal ma pride) always follow. It's good for me because they are building my confidence to show off in front of my classmates.

As a criminology student it hard for me to study because I'm not smart. But I tried my best to pass all my subjects. Luckily I passed the first semester, but what about this second semester? I need to work hard even it's a minor or a major subject. But the big problem is the tuition fee. My parents thought Abuyog Community College still offered free tuition, but it turns out not anymore. But they didn't discourage me, instead they said that if I really want to finish it, I should go ahead and not give up because it's just money and there's a way to do it. So I study hard so that I can finish and repay them for their hardships just to get me an education and for guiding me.

In conclusion being a criminoloy student is not easy. It needs hard work and sacrifice. We must study wisely, correctly and being an well dicipline and respectful student. Work hard in the responsibilities that we take as a criminology student and don't give up until you achieve your goals in life. What about you? What is your life as a criminology student?

"My Life as a Criminology Student"

I am now a 1rst Year Criminology in Abuyog Community College, I am Currently 22 years old. Being a Criminology Student was not really my dream. When I was in highschool,I really dreamed of being a sea fearer. However, the destiny did not allow me to do so because unfortunately at the beginning of the enrollment for sea fearers, my mother got sick.

Even though my family pushed me to continue that course, I did my initiative not to do so because I know the state that we're in that time.

As a freshman, a got a hard time adjusting to my new environment, I got a hard time adjusting to new faces, new place and new learning institution, I got a hard time adjusting because that time my mindset was “What's the point of studying hard when this not really my dream course". But then as the time pass by , I've learned to love this course, I realized that maybe this is the destiny's redirection for me.

Being a Criminology Student pushed me to become obedient, polite, and responsible. Though I didn't realize it back then , but now I know something good will happen because this is the destiny's chosen field for me. In this institution I was being desciplined and I was also humbled.

To conclude, I would say that being a Criminology is difficult and tiring, but I can also say that it is very rewarding and fulfilling. Even though I am not that smart I know that with hardwork, patience, and strategies. I can finish this course.

    1. I would like to introduce myself first.I am Helmar Cinco. I am currently 19 years old. I am now a 1st year criminology student in Abuyog community college . being criminology student this is my dream course when I was in high school.
As a criminology student, my journey has been one of constant learning, self-discovery, and growth. Each day, I am fascinated by the complexities of human behavior and the intricate workings of the criminal justice system. In this blog, I want to share my experiences as a criminology student and how it has impacted my life.
      Being a criminology student
I decided to pursue criminology because of my passion for understanding the root causes of crime and delinquency. The courses I have taken have opened my eyes to the societal, psychological, and environmental factors that contribute to criminal behavior. From my first year, I was introduced to theories that explained why some individuals turn to crime, such as social disorganization theory, strain theory, and rational choice theory. Through my studies, I have come to understand that there is no one-size-fits-all explanation for crime, and each case must be understood within its unique context.

Being a criminology student has also taught me the importance of empathy and compassion. It is easy to view offenders as "bad people," but I have learned that there is often a complex backstory and circumstances that led them to their actions. In my classes, we often discuss the flaws in the criminal justice system and how it can perpetuate injustice rather than prevent it. I have become more aware of the need for systemic change and the importance of rehabilitation and restorative justice.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a criminology student is the opportunity to work with professionals in the field. Through internships and volunteer work, I have had the chance to witness the practical application of the theories and concepts I have learned in class. I have worked with probation officers, victim advocates, and police officers, and each experience has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges and rewards of working in the criminal justice system.

Studying criminology has also challenged me to think critically and analytically. I have learned to evaluate evidence and draw conclusions based on data and research. This skill has not only been valuable in my academic pursuits but also in my personal life. I am more aware of the biases and assumptions we all hold and the need to approach situations with an open mind and a willingness to learn.

In conclusion, my life as a criminology student has been an enriching experience that has shaped my worldview and my aspirations for the future. I am grateful for the knowledge I have gained, the friendships I have made, and the opportunities I have had. I believe that my education has prepared me to make a positive impact in my life.

"My life as a criminology student"

My life as a criminology student is full of excitement, challenges, and endless possibilities. From the moment I decided to pursue criminology, I knew it would be a journey filled with thought-provoking discussions and eye-opening experiences. My days are spent learning and researching various aspects of how the criminal justice system works.

The first thing I do every morning is attend classes. The lectures are always informative and engaging, and I never tire of learning new things. And also, the lectures are delivered by experienced professors and criminologists who have a wealth of knowledge in the field.

After those classes, I dive into my coursework, assignments, and activities that were given by our instructors. Some of the activities require conducting interviews and presenting reports to the class. These activities are somehow challenging, but they help me develop critical thinking skills and improve my writing abilities.

One of the best things about studying criminology is the ROTC, because ROTC is fun and it teaches us a lot that can also be useful knowledge when we enter the training camp. Like, they taught us about basic drills, and it is a big help to us because we have knowledge when we enter the training.

However, studying criminology is not always sunshine and rainbows. There are times when I struggle with understanding certain concepts, or activities pile up, leading to financial problems or personal problems, which can lead to a stressful period and also cause depression. But with the help of my friends, family, and the person I love, I push through these challenging moments. They offer genuine support and helpful advice, and they motivate me to strive harder.

Being a criminology student is a rewarding experience. It allows me to gain knowledge on how to make the world a safer and better place, understand why and how crimes occur, and appreciate the process of delivering justice. I look forward to a future where I can apply the knowledge and skills I have gained in criminology to make a positive impact on society.

i am JAYVIE GACITA as a criminology student I am first-year Criminology student and I absolutely love my course. my interest in criminology grew whilst I live in malaguicay with high crime rates and wondering as a young child why there were more crimes in certain communities and areas than others.
From day one of being at college I loved modules.I particularly enjoyed learning about the various explanation of crime and the ways which race influence experience of the criminal justice system. every time I attend a Criminology lecture,I am excited to tell my friends about what I learned.
One thing that is unique about studying Criminology at college is the fact that you get a chance to pick minor subject to study alongside your major subject in my first-year.
I am choose from a range of subject both those that are related to Criminology in case or from across the college level.
I cannot stress enough the number of academic opportunity available for me at college.there is always something going on that can improve key skills.for my instance, there are writing skills worksheet for Criminology student for me.

  82. 'My life as a criminology student'

Solidarity, punctuality and mainly responsibility are just few of the improvements within me, ever since I've been in this program. Being a criminology student really kept me wandering about how laws and regulations are implemented in our society, which gave me the eagerness to dig more knowledge about the Philippine law, that mostly gave me the satisfaction to atleast learn something in everyday I goes to school.

This program has been a obstacle to me, that needs to be conquered. I was challenged of the academic lessons that we have to study and the trainings too, every Sunday. In which, it's been a privileged for me to improve myself to be a better individual in this community.

This year has been quite hard for some factors that somehow hindered on my studies. It may be physical, emotional, psychological and financial factor that troubles me from pursuing my career. But then, it is just a matter of determination and firmness to go forward.

Being in this field, helped me find out what I am still flexible to do. It brought me up my preserverance, and most importantly, it teaches me to never let my guard down, cause there's still more to come in life.

The concept of criminology for me is literally 'pain and gain'. That in every pain and failure that I manage to go through, only gains me to build enough courage to face more bumps ahead.
I am, and I will keep on learning, until I became the man I dreamt myself to be.

"My Life as a Criminology Student"

I am a criminology student in my 1st year at ACC, or Abuyog Community College. I have liked this course since I was a child, and it gives me excitement about what criminology feels like. Criminology is the study of crime and criminals. As a criminology student, getting a Bachelor of Science in Criminology is not as easy as people think because being a criminologist is a big responsibility. We are expected to be disciplined and illiterate. Before we enroll in the Bachelor of Science in Criminology, we should have at least a general weighted average of 85%, and we should maintain it at the end of a semester.

As a criminology student, this course is very challenging, and I like that it gives me the urge to participate in every activity because I love to challenge myself. I want to know if the challenges I take will lead me to survive this course or if I am able to fail it. As I take this course, there are always struggles that come my way, but I know I will make it through these obstacles. There are times that I think I can't do it, but I always keep in mind the sacrifices of my parents, which gives me the courage to continue and pursue this course.

Being a criminology, without finacially stable you can't able to provide all the books in this course.  Aside from the miscellaneous fee, the cost of transportation is also a problem in my study. There are times that I feel shy whenever I ask for money from my parents, and I realize that without financial support, all the plans that we're planning to achieve can be ruined, and I can even lose interest in my studies. With that situation, I always look forward to my future, knowing that I am able to sustain the needs of my family and exchange all of their sacrifices.

As a criminology student, I come to school on time or before call time, especially during ROTC. ROTC is also a big help for me as a criminology student because it helps me mold myself into being responsible, well-disciplined, and confident. Furthermore, before being enrolled in ROTC, I didn't have any talents, but right before I started doing ROTC, it took away my comfort zone and made me able to produce any talents, like singing and a little bit of dancing, because, as a matter of criminology, if you can't produce talents, it will lead to punishments, and those punishments will include all of us.

This continuing to be a criminology student is somehow very encouraging to enroll in. You can learn a lot of knowledge, a lesson that connects to our lives, and also experience and skills that I know for sure will help in my career path. Now that you know some of the characteristics of a criminology student, do you have the guts to enroll in a Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCRIM) program? Does it persuade you to take this course?

As a criminology student I chose this because it is the best for me and it is also the dream of my family to finish studying to become a police, and as a criminology student it is necessary to sacrifice and endure the hardship as a student in order to finish the dream and become a police man and to be able to work properly and the family.

Especially in this season when it's really hot, you don't know what to do in the extreme heat. It seems like if you take a bath time after time your body heat will just disappear,

"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"

Welcome to my blog, where I will be discussing my experiences as a criminology student at Abuyog Community College (ACC). I'll tell you a little bit about myself and why I chose this course, and then I'll describe my life as a criminology student.

My name is Kiervy Gamba, I was born in Jaro, Leyte, and I began studying at Abuyog Community College last year at the age of 18.

I became interested in criminology a few years ago and have always wanted to be a part of the industry. I want to be able to understand why people behave in such a way and hope to help different societies throughout my career. By taking this course, I hope to learn what motivates people to act in certain ways. Is it mental illness or just pure hatred?

I have many goals for studying criminology, and I am very motivated to achieve them. My goal at this point in my life is to graduate from Abuyog Community College with a degree. I will be a very hardworking student who will challenge herself throughout the course and can work with others or independently. I am well-organized, have excellent punctuation, and am enthusiastic about studying a subject that I am passionate about. I believe that taking this course will help me achieve all of my future goals, and I can't wait to finally study a subject in which I am very interested.

To be honest my first month being a criminology student is not that easy specially the ROTC. But times go by I already enjoying my life her and I am proud to say that I am one of the officer in ROTC here in Abuyog Community College I achieved that because of the motivation and support that my family and friends given to me. I still have 3 yers that I need to fufill before I achieve my goal but In God's well I know I can make it. I can make my family proud and happy.

As a criminology student, I have faced various challenges throughout my academic journey. Among these challenges, financial problems have been a recurring issue that I have had to deal with. It has been difficult to balance my academic pursuits with the financial burdens that come with pursuing a degree in higher education.

In addition to financial struggles, family problems have also affected my academic progress. It has been hard to focus on my studies when my family is going through tough times. The stress and emotional toll that family problems have on me have made it difficult to stay motivated and engaged in my coursework.

Despite these challenges, the problem of academic pressure is something that I have had to confront as well. The expectations of academic success in criminology have been high, and it has been difficult to keep up with the demands of coursework, research, and exams. Time management has been a constant struggle, as I try to balance my academic pursuits with my personal and financial responsibilities.

As a shy person, it has been difficult to seek help or ask questions when I am struggling in class. I tend to keep to myself and avoid speaking up, even when I know I need assistance. This has led to missed opportunities for learning and growth, as I have been too afraid to ask for help.

Perhaps the biggest challenge of all has been the cost of tuition. As a student who cannot afford to pay for my education outright, I have had to rely on financial aid, loans, and scholarships to cover the cost of my tuition. It has been a constant worry, wondering whether I will be able to afford to continue my education each semester. Despite these challenges, however, I remain committed to my academic pursuits and determined to overcome any obstacles in my path.

“My Life as a Criminology Student”

Hi! I'm Yasmin, you can call me Min for short. I am 19 years old and I live in Brgy. Sta. Cruz Javier, Leyte. I already thought being a college student is hard but it's not like in Junior High school where you will go to school from Monday to Friday but being a college student you must follow your schedule and sometimes you don't have a class in a day. I am a criminology student and being a criminology student is not easy as a lot of people think it is. Do you want to know my life as a criminology student? Then enjoy!

As a criminology student we wake up early every Sunday because it is our ROTC day. Being late is a big no for me because we have punishments and that's all I can tell because there's a military secrecy that we always follow. I thought that being criminology is not hard and guess, I'm specially wrong about it. Studying criminology is hard because we don't only use our analyzing and critical thinking but we use our body as well.

The area of criminal justice draws professionals from disciplines that include legal, forensic, business, biology and chemistry—just to name a few. The range of criminal laws and potential criminal action is reflected in the diversity of academic and professional backgrounds. Criminologists propose explanations and ideas for why crimes happen and what motivates a criminal offender to behave by utilizing their expertise and training in sociology and psychology. If you work in this field, you will look at more than just the evidence in specific instances; you will also take a larger view of criminal conduct. You might work as a profiler or consultant for criminal detectives, a social professional who works with criminal defendants, or a policymaker who wants to address the underlying causes of crime, depending on your workplace.

Being a criminology student we have to obey our leaders, seniors, instructors and higher ups. We give respect in a way of side stepping whenever we saw them in our way in college. Teaching us the basic trainings, the march, the value and love for our country. As we continue to learn more things we develop a great bond among our mates or buddies as we call it to each other. We learned the word Unity that when someone fault is all our fault too.

In summary, a criminologist's day will be filled with a wide variety of potential assignments, jobs, and circumstances in which to apply theories that explain human behavior.

"My Life as a Criminology Student"

"Criminology", a simple word with eleven letters, but one of the most difficult courses in college. Before I share my life and experiences as a criminology student I would like to introduce myself. I am Jessa Mae Corsanes, 19 years old and I live in Barangay Kalinawan, Jaro, Leyte and now that I am in college I am currently studying at Abuyog Community College. Honestly, I am really struggling with this course of mine now because I don't have much knowledge about Criminology but with the help of my friends and with the support of my family I am able to cope with everything. Now, let's talk about my life as a Criminology student who is my chosen course.

As a Criminology student, it is important that I know and learn things that I know will help in the development of my life and myself. Since I was a child, it has been my dream to become a full-fledged police officer to serve our country faithfully. Yes I know I will struggle because apart from the fact that I don't know much in this field, I am also afraid of failing. I know that before I can reach this dream of mine, I will face many trials and problems and one of my problems is money and the expensive Tuition fee. My studies as a Criminology student are not easy because I think about many problems. There are many problems that come with each passing day and each day I need to be strong so that I can overcome these challenges. Budgeting money and allowances is not easy, because I have many things to prioritize and this is one of my problems because sometimes I reach the point where there is no fare and no food. It is also not easy for me to be away from my family to study here in Abuyog because I am not used to being away from them and this is one of the challenges that I have to resist and face. Being strong, hardworking, patient and being diligent is important to me because this is one of the qualities that a Criminology student needs to achieve success. Moreover, this course of mine teach me how to be a strong and independent women considering that I am away from my family and everyday, I always learn something that makes me realize to live my life, to continue what I'm doing, and to be a better version of myself. I need to empower myself to make my dreams come true.

But despite everything, I can only say one thing, "My life as a Criminology student is not easy yet it's worth it." The experiences and new people I met have become a part of my life that gives me knowledge and new lessons in my life. I can't wait to become a full-fledged police officer serving our country and I'm also excited to make my parents proud and to be proud of myself for being able to handle everything I went through as a Criminology student. But before achieving this dream of mine, I must first study hard and endure everything I went through. I'm not allowed to be tired because I know that the one who spends money and sends me to school is more tired than me therefore I conclude to give value my education, and to pursue my dreams in life as a hardworking student.

"My Life as a Criminology Student"

My life as a Criminology student

Hi there! My name is Nell Angelou T. Sebugon, a criminology student at Abuyog Community College (ACC). Why did I take the criminology course? For me, as a criminology student, that's why I took this course. When I was young, I really wanted to be a police officer, and then, at my age, I really wanted to learn about the causes of crime, who commits crime, or the criminal justice system. I know that being a criminologist is not easy, but for me, I really want to learn that even if it is difficult, but I will do my best.
As a criminology student, even though it's difficult, I still do my best. I'm just a poor student because my parents' job is only fishing, and I also study hard for them. I persevered in studying because my parents even said that I should study hard because they were there to support me and because they were proud of me because I made it to college even though we were poor. I am very grateful to them because, without them, I would not have reached college.
The criminology course, for me, was very fun because in this course I have made many friends, just like during our ROTC, with my classmates and with those I met in ACC. That's why I chose this course because, as I said earlier, I want to learn many things, one of which is how to make a lot of friends. I also want to become a law enforcement officer someday. Sometimes during ROTC, after the lectures, when there is nothing else to do, the officers in ROTC produce talent from us or the so-called cadets. They also called me to show them my talent; this is where my pride started because I was ashamed of them, and this is where I got angry because of what they were doing. When I didn't follow what they said, they told me to be "mapride" about being a cadet; they said I couldn't do criminology, so what the officers did was they punished me and the other cadets. Then I realized that's how it is here when you're in criminology and you're new: the officials will treat you like that, and you'll be produced by talent. You should follow what the officials or orders say. So here I learned what the officials taught us. That's why the officers do it to the cadets: they want to build our confidence so we can show it off in front of other students or cadets.
In addition to that, there are also instructors in criminology who are good at teaching, so even if something is difficult, they will show you how to do it. There are also instructors who don't make the question difficult so that their students don't have a hard time either. I also have classmates who are in good spirits because they are helping each other because of criminology; they say the word "unity," which means to work together and that no one should be left behind, so during an activity we worked together so that all of us would pass.
And lastly, as a criminology student at Abuyog Community College (ACC), my life will be filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and service. With my hard work and dedication, I can achieve my goal and make a positive impact on the world and those around me. I am very grateful to my parents that, even though we were poor, they were able to educate us and our four siblings. In the criminology course, other students even said that this course is difficult, but for me, it is normal for students to take this course because it depends only on working hard. So it is not a reason that this course is difficult because, as I said before, it only depends on the students. I really need to work hard in my studies because I want to graduate and achieve my dreams. I suggest to those who will take a criminology course in the future that they think about it, be prepared, and be comfortable. For the last time, my name is Nell Angelou T. Sebugon, a criminology student studying at Abuyog Community College (ACC). You! Do you want to be in criminology next?

Coming from Baybay City Leyte moving away from my home town to abuyog Leyte one of the most challenging times for me is that I need to adjust to the culture they have here like I'm speaking bisaya then theme is speaking waray so that's why I need to learn how to speak waray as respect for theme.when I first started looking a school was Visayas State University in Tulosa Tacloban City, but suddenly I didn't pass the entrance exam so that I don't have any choice that's why I'm studying here in Abuyog Community College as a criminology student.

From day one of being at Abuyog Community College, I particularly enjoyed learning about the various explanations of crime and the ways in which race influences experiences of the criminal justice system. If anyone is considering coming to Abuyog Community College.it is the best decision you will ever make. One of the best things about being in the Criminology Department at ACC is the support you receive from all of your instructor and you also the people here Isa friendly so I'm not out of place when I'm in school . When I first started, I was quite nervous, mainly because I was not sure if I would fit in.

The first reason why I took up criminology is because when I was young, it was always the answer when someone asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up, which is to be a police officer, that's what I always told them. , so now that I'm at the right age and I'm here at the beginning of my dream as a first year college here in Abuyog Community college, I can really say that I'm excited and at the same time nervous like In the first week of our ROTC I was a little nervous that time because they said that the ROTC sub is difficult, but when it started, you can tell that it is not that difficult.

Our seniors told us that we just enjoy the opportunity that ROTC has. So now that our ROTC will be over in a few weeks, I should really apply what I learned in our ROTC, like being respectful to all people, whether they are old or younger, you need to be the ones who are still there. if the two of you have an argument, to avoid trouble and I have learned a lot that I can use on a daily basis. Even the self defense that was taught to us, that's what I can use in case of emergency, so if you defend yourself and other people if they are in a situation where they need help.

For the last part of my blog I just want to say those people who believe that criminology course is so difficult because at the first place no course that is easy everyone will go through hardship and that hardship we experienced right now as a first year college here in ACC, this is what will strengthen us to handle all the trials that come and solve all the problems, so what I'm doing is that I just enjoy it. At the same time, I'm also serious about my studies and I know that this is just a trial for me. we're getting to the exciting part they say so my life here in ACC as a criminology student is fun and I'm happy that I study here.

So now want to tell my side of the story that being criminology is an honor,as a Criminology student we need to be consistent, determined to be a Law enforcers someday so that we can serve and protect the people in our country. And now that realize that it's difficult because I'll enter without food go in early in the morning, especially for ROTC, but tell myself that can do it. God will not leave me even if I don't have food for a few days, I can make it even if I'm hungry, cry at night, drink water so don't starve because we're poor we don't have money.

I'm ashamed to ask my family for money because know that if there's no one, they won't be there either. All my problems just cry when I pray to the Lord.. in college it's not easy but I can handle it because it's what took it's what want in the course But this course that took is a challenge for me because this is where will know if can handle it or not.

As a criminology student, you should be brave, don't be weak, sometimes tell myself that I can't do it because I'm weak, many people tell me that can't do it, so why did take it? Sometimes just say no. I am a student teacher because almost all of them told me that you can't do that so want to show them that I can do it even if no one believes in me always pray to God to accompany me in my dream because he is the only one who gives me courage Everyday

This rotc is the best for me, these are my subjects like crim2, you really learn a lot, I'm happy in criminology because if it's your fault, it's everyone's fault, everyone should sympathize... I'm also happy that I've met a lot of friends from everyone, I'll study in this college here I'm happy and sad. I just want to say to others who want to do criminology that this is all you have to do, pray and trust yourself, that's why you can do it to others... even for me, just pray to God for everything, know that we can do it even though it's hard, but it's fun with criminology students. so it's just against criminology students.

MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT

Being a criminology student requires a lot of money. Our tuition fee was so big amount. We also have a lot of fees, like for our t-shirts here and there. It sometimes makes me think if I could continue my journey as a criminology student or not.
Despite of these challenges, I am still grateful that I was still being able to experience all of these things. I was able to build good relationship towards my classmates and to know more people in other departments. I enjoyed all of our activities. This help me being a respectful individual of the community. It prepares me physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially into what I want to be in the future, to be a registered criminologist someday.
Being a student without a mom was never easy. How I wish I have her beside me through my ups and downs. I wish she was there to cheer me up whenever I feel so much tired. I wish she was there to lighter every burden through her hugs and homemade foods. I really missed her, I am studying hard for her. I want her to be proud of me that even she was not there anymore, still I was able to achieve my dream.
Whatever struggles that we may face, let us all just believe in what we can do. We have to always trust everything in God’s will. Problems will just come and go so do not dwell yourself on it. Just let every problem go, as long as I can, I will do everything that I could to achieve my dream in becoming a registered criminologist in the future. It is true that it is never easy being a criminology student, but if you really want it, you work hard for it. I will just always pray and pray and pray that God will grant all my dreams. I did have trouble deciding which college courses to take. It's so challenging that I have to choose nautical or criminology.Choosing a degree is, in my opinion, a pretty difficult decision to make because your future depends on it and the choice you make will affect the kind of life you have in the future.
I picked this course because I want to be a law enforcement officer and aid prevention, control, and reduction of crime in our society so that our neighborhood would be a more tranquil and livable environment. However, in today's society, criminals are always looking for new methods to break the law, which causes both the criminals themselves and the crimes they commit to evolve over time. This course will be challenging and engaging because new academic fields are always emerging. Also, criminology students have access to a variety of intriguing career options, including immigration, education, policing, law enforcement, people protection, community planning, lobbying, consulting, public administration, and international development.I'm interested in both discovering the characteristics, motivations, and backgrounds of criminals as well as commit various crimes. I would be able to determine whether some people are genetically predisposed to have specific genes that increase their likelihood of committing crime if I had a better understanding of biological psychology.I want to understand more about how the criminal justice system deals with detaining, accusing, and sentencing young people, And I am curious about how the presence of another person can affect a person's behavior and emotions. The effects of prisons on those who are serving sentences and how they can affect them are fascinating subjects. If I studied criminology, I would have a greater grasp of the criminal mind and be better equipped to understand how crime may be reduced and prevented in society.

Moving somewhere to pursue a criminology degree can be both exhilarating and difficult. Making the choice to leave the security of one's home and start a new journey requires a lot of guts and tenacity. But, for many people, the chance to follow their aspirations and realize their goals overcomes the difficulties that come with it.

The adjustment to a new environment is one of the most difficult aspects of moving away from home to pursue a criminology degree. Making new acquaintances, moving to a new city, and getting used to a new environment might be stressful at first. These difficulties, meanwhile, eventually present themselves as chances for development and education. Students who move away from home to pursue criminology degrees have the chance to learn how to adapt to new environments, make new friends, and develop the skills they need to succeed in their future careers.

Another challenge of moving away from home to pursue a degree in criminology is financial independence. Students who live away from home must learn to manage their finances responsibly, pay their own bills, and live on a budget. This can be difficult, but it's an important part of learning how to be self-sufficient and responsible.

Despite the challenges, there are many benefits to moving away from home to pursue a degree in criminology. One of the biggest advantages is the opportunity to immerse oneself in the field of criminology. Students who live away from home have the chance to attend lectures, seminars, and workshops that are not available in their hometowns. They also have access to resources like libraries, research facilities, and internships that are not available in smaller towns or rural areas.

Living away from home also allows students to develop independence and self-reliance. They learn how to take care of themselves, make decisions on their own, and manage their time effectively. These skills are valuable not only in college but in life as well. The experience of living away from home teaches students how to be responsible and accountable, and it helps them to develop a strong sense of self-confidence and self-worth.

Moving away from home to pursue a degree in criminology also allows students to build a network of like-minded individuals. They meet people who share their interests, passions, and goals, and they have the opportunity to learn from them and collaborate on projects. This network of contacts can be invaluable when it comes to finding internships, job opportunities, and career guidance.

In conclusion, going away from home to pursue a criminology degree might be difficult, but it can also be an opportunity for growth on both a personal and academic level.

In conclusion, going away from home to pursue a criminology degree might be difficult, but it can also be an opportunity for growth on both a personal and academic level. It enables them to become fully immersed in their subject matter, gain independence and self-reliance, and create a network of people who share their interests. Even while it occasionally presents obstacles, living away from home while pursuing a criminology degree is definitely worth it. I urge anyone thinking about going down this road to do so to follow their ambitions.

I'm a first year College student of Criminology in Abuyog Community College. My name is Jay G. Adtoon. I really loved this course since I was young. My life as a first year college is difficult but I know that I can do this course and I can graduate from this course. This course is what I dreamed of when I was young, so I took this course because I want to become a police officer one day like my dad.

As a criminology student, this is a big help in my studies because I will learn a lot here for my course, about the criminal justice system and the law enforcement , even if it is difficult, I will still be able to finish this course no matter what happens. I must be able to graduate because I want to help people and fulfill my vow to the town. I want to be able to help my family and repay their suffering so I am studying hard. As a student of criminology, I enjoy the course I took because I know for myself that this is what I want and I also enjoy it because all my friends and I help each other so that we can pass and graduate someday.

From my first day of being a student at Aboyog Community College, I joined as a COCQ or advance ROTC in the subject of military science and here I experienced all the hardships you will go through in advance ROTC before you become an officer but no matter how difficult it was, I got through it and I also learned a lot when I joined the Advance ROTC that you can apply yourself and now I am a 3cl officer. knowing that I will experience many hardships before I can achieve my dream.

What I learned in advancing ROTC is being a disciplined person and being respected by people. And I will wake up at three in the morning to take care of going to school. Tired and lack of sleep, sometimes without food just to get to school early so as not to be punished. I also learned that every second, minute and hour is really important. What I also experienced in being an Advance Rotc is that you have to sacrifice a lot of things because they say duty first before else.

For the last part of my blog. As a student, there is no easy course, all of them are difficult, but there is no difficult course if you are really determined about the course you have taken. As long as everything I've learned since I went to college, I apply it to myself and I won't forget everything my instructor taught me or told me in my first year of college. I know I can do it all so my inspiration is my family and my loved ones and I believe I can finish this course. And one day I will be a good policeman and have a good life.

My Life as a Criminology Student

It was always been my childhood dream to become a criminology student. And I still possess the same passion, now that I am already a freshman criminology student. There were moments I felt like giving up because of several factors. Nevertheless, I always reminisce about the purpose of choosing this path which motivates me to keep going despite the struggles and challenges. While studying at Abuyog Community College (ACC), I learned to manage my time well and become flexible. Specially because the classes are conducted whether online or face to face. However, through the admirable instructors which devoted themselves into teaching, learning become more enjoyable and facile. The topics being discussed contained relevant informations about my course. Throughout the learning period, I become knowledgeable of what is crime, as well as its different types, and the factors that influences individuals to commit such.

Moreover, if you choose Abuyog Community College, it will be one of the decision you will never regret. The staffs in ACC gladly welcome everyone without showing discrimination. Therefore, all students received equal and proper treatment. The school offers quality education through the instructors fully equipped with knowledge. It also provide insightful application for knowledge attained by the students. Furthermore, the school holds various events where students can showcase their talents and skills. Additionally, the people in Abuyog Community College are proven to be honest and kind as evidenced by the posts of the Facebook page "The Honeycomb Campus Media".

There are lots of experiences that I have
treasured being a criminology student in ACC. The first semester was memorable because I was able to mingle and interact with people, specifically my blockmates, which lived from different places. At that moment, we were so grateful for our instructor in accompanying us for a swimming at a beach. Moreover, I learned how to speak and understand the native language of Abuyog which is called "Waray-waray". At first, I was shy to utter some words however, in the latter part, I found it fascinating.

Going further, I engaged in Karate training, in our Physical Education subject, and have developed skills for it. I also learned the rules, benefits, and risks of practicing Karate. Meanwhile, in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) we were provided military trainings that motivate, organize, and mobilize us, criminology students, as future members of the national defense organization. Also, we were taught about military courtesy and discipline. During the second semester, my journey as a criminology student become even more exciting and challenging. While, my knowledge and wisdom about the course, criminology, grows deeper. In ROTC, we carry out activities such as crawling in the mud. And I obtained knowledge about the usefulness of the different hand signals applied in the military field. On the other hand, the P.E. subject is all about the martial art sport, arnis. In which I discovered hand to hand combat techniques and self-defense mechanisms. Meanwhile, I acquired knowledge with regards to Republic Act 9262, otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Law (“VAWC”). This act is crucial that every women and children should know about.

Pursuing criminology in ACC, draws me closer in fulfilling my dream of becoming a good policeman. A police officer that will duly serve and protect society from individuals who choose not to abide by the rules of the law. And to embody significant qualities such as integrity, self-discipline and to be a role model to the younger generation. Through determination and perseverance, I will succeed and make my family's hardwork and sacrifices all worth it. Finally, as the saying goes,“Courage is not having the strength to go on; it is going on when you don’t have the strength.” So to all my colleagues, let us keep going until we reach our dream.

My life as a criminology student
Being a criminology student is an exciting journey full of discoveries and new experiences. It’s a field of study that seeks to understand and prevent crime in society in which I decided to spend my college life as I dream to become part of law enforcement. One of the most exciting parts of being a criminology student is the opportunity to learn about the different theories and concepts surrounding crime. From biological theories to environmental ones, you get to explore the vast array of perspectives surrounding the causes of crime. It's fascinating to learn how and why people commit crimes, and what measures can be taken to reduce crime rates.
Aside from academic learning, being a criminology student also involves experiential learning. You'll have the opportunity to participate in various hands-on experiences such as going on ride-alongs with police officers, participating in community programs that promote justice, and visiting correctional facilities. These experiences offer a unique insight into the criminal justice system and provide a more holistic understanding of how it affects society. Being a criminology student also requires an analytical mindset.
You'll need to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to be able to analyze patterns of crime and come up with effective solutions. This may involve looking at statistical data, studying research papers, and analyzing criminal behavior patterns to better understand the factors that contribute to crime. As with any field of study, being a criminology student also comes with its fair share of challenges. The amount of coursework can be overwhelming, and the subject matter can sometimes be difficult to confront emotionally.
However, learning to navigate these challenges is an essential part of my journey and helps to develop the resilience and grit necessary for a career in criminology. Despite the challenges, studying criminology can be an incredibly rewarding experience. It provides the opportunity to learn about how society responds to crime and how to make a difference in preventing it. With the right passion and dedication, being a criminology student can lead to a successful and fulfilling my career path.
In conclusion, being a criminology student means exploring a vast and intriguing field of study, learning about different theories surrounding crime, and gaining hands-on experience. It requires analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to tackle difficult subject matter. Also being a criminology student means constantly challenging yourself to learn about the complex and often baffling human behavior that drives crime, while also being about to see the good in the world and strive towards justice. While it's not an easy feat, it's an incredibly rewarding journey that can lead to a fulfilling career of many possibilities. However, the journey is immensely rewarding, and the knowledge gained can go on to change society for the better.

"My Life as a Criminology Student"

According to Lao Tzu, "Watch your words; they become actions." Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become your character. Watch your character; It becomes your destiny. Good day, ma'am! I am Jonard Mamato, and this is "My Life as a Criminology Student." This area of study is fascinating because you gain insight into people's minds. From there, criminologists try to figure out how these people developed and seek out ways to prevent and reduce crimes as well as minimize their impact on society.

As a criminology student, it develops our strong research skills as we explore crime that is current in different places and at different times in history. Ultimately, studying criminology leaves you not just with skills for an awesome career but also with skills that are applied in all aspects of adulting, like critical thinking, logical reasoning, communication, and understanding what makes people tick.

As a criminology student, the goals of studying criminology are to describe criminal behavior, understand criminal behavior, predict criminal behavior, and control criminal behavior. Principal Division  Criminology's goals are to attempt a scientific analysis of the causes of crime and the conditions under which penal laws develop as a process of formal and social control.

Who were these criminals? What was their motivation? And what is to be done in the aftermath? These are some of the questions we might seek answers to as criminology students. Criminology is the study of crime, and as a criminology student, it introduces us to other fields that study human behavior, like sociology, psychology, economics, statistics, anthropology, etc. to understand criminal motivations, methods, characteristics, effects, and more. As a criminology student, it expands our ideas much further. Dive into the behavioral motivations of people who commit crime. Looking at what sort of social and economic changes can prevent crime and trying to find ways to rehabilitate people who commit crime will minimize the overall impact of crime.

"MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT"

Becoming a police is really my dream since when I am a kid.   I did find it easy to choose what course to take in college, so I took a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Since class started, I've felt nervous, for I thought the discussions or the experiences I'll have would be hard, and those thoughts in my mind were really the truth. I know taking this course is hard, but I know it will really help me in the near future.

In my life as a criminology student, there are many challenges that I have had to face, but there are many possibilities to learn about the factors that contribute to crime, how to prevent it, and how to overcome obstacles. I decided to pursue this program because I have always been interested in how the criminal justice system functions and how social and psychological factors might affect criminal behavior.

My usual day as a criminology student consists of going to classes depending on the given schedules, studying textbooks, and attending ROTC every Sunday. ROTC helps me to be a responsible person who is respectful and knows how to follow rules and regulations. I am always tired when I go home, but I always tell myself that I need to go through with these challenges because I know that this hard work will result in a better future for my life. I am proud and determined to be a police officer someday, so whatever happens, I need to believe in myself.

I met a new set of friends and met new people, even though I'm not that friendly. And of course, life as a criminology student is not without its challenges. The subject matter can be emotionally difficult to handle at times, as we confront the realities of crime, victimization, and punishment. It can also be intellectually challenging as we grapple with complex theories, methodologies, and ethical dilemmas. But these challenges are also what make criminology such a rewarding and fulfilling field of study. By confronting difficult issues head-on, we are better equipped to understand and address them.

As I near the end of my degree program, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. With a degree in criminology, I am well-prepared for a wide range of careers in law enforcement, corrections, social services, research, and other related fields. Lastly, my life as a criminology student has taught me the importance of understanding and addressing the complex social and psychological factors that contribute to crime and victimization. It has also taught me the value of critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making. As I look forward to the future, I am confident that the skills and knowledge I have gained through my studies will serve me well in whatever career path I choose. So, how about you? What's your life as a criminology student?

The bachelor of science in criminology program is a four-year degree program that studies crime and the various roles of justice agencies as they operate and respond to crime, criminals, and victims. This is one of the reasons I enjoyed this course, as is my personality and way of thinking, which enjoys learning new things.
I'm not sure why I'm like that, but I'm obsessed with it. When I was bored, I would go on the internet and look up crimes. Many people, including my parents, advise me to pursue other courses, but that did not deter my determination, and I am now enrolled at Abuyog Community College. I am not sure why I am this way, but I am. When I was bored, I would go on the internet and look up crimes. Many people, including my parents, advised me to pursue other courses, but this did not deter my determination, and I am now enrolled at Abuyog Community College.

My ideal job would be that of a criminologist or to become a policeman. Since grade school, I've been fascinated by the human mind and behavior. Criminology is the study of crimes, their consequences, and their social impact. The job of a criminologist is to observe criminal behavior and determine why a crime was committed in order to reduce the rate of future criminal behavior. Writing research papers and articles is also part of their job. This is a job that I believe I will pursue because I enjoy writing and want to help improve our society. A criminologist can work in a variety of settings.

Criminology will built-in you the ability to specialize in different areas like criminal behavior, legal studies, corporate & white-collar crime, and crime science. You have a lot of interesting and intense matter coming in. You will develop your communication and writing skills in this course. There will be various activities performed openly in front of groups and you have to express your point of view.

“My Life as a Criminology Student”

Good day everyone! I will be sharing my personal experiences as a student pursuing a four-year course in Criminology. I am Ronil Diaz Ritaga, from the challenges I face to the exciting opportunities that will come my way in the future, I hope to provide the best of my knowledge into what it’s like to study criminology and the entire life in the field of criminal justice.

As a father and a student:
By the way I am a student, a husband, and a father at the same time. I knew that you know also how time management for me a crucial thing when we have along with us the responsibilities of being a father. From balancing my coursework while studying with childcare and family can be discouraging and draining but from my own experience, what is important is you know how to set your goals and your priorities. Because of course, having child means enjoying the pleasures and benefits that come with both responsibilities. But what matter the most for me is about how my family has inspired and encouraged me, and how my academic endeavors will help me in giving them a better life in the near future.

CRIMINOLOGY AS A SUBJECT AND AS A LIFE-LEARNER:
As one of the criminology student in Abuyog Community College, I am aware on how difficult and challenging the course is and for me it needs full focus and hard work to cope up with all the subjects especially our major subjects. One of the things I love about studying criminology is the fact that I’ll be learning on the criminal justice system of our country, the various theories of crime, criminal behaviour, and other related topics that in the long run can be applied in the real circumstances. And I am sure that in continuing this subject I’ll be able to gain the corresponding knowledge in the field I am into. And that is by appreciating well the subject and for you to be sure, based on my experience, it is not a boring coursework.

That is why students like me should not take for granted the opportunities that the world can offer. May it be in the form of financial freedom or in any aspects. Because the moment you took for granted those chances, you will missed the chance of becoming a successful individual in the future.

    CONCLUSION:
And as I continue my course as a criminology student, I look forward to further explore so many aspects in the criminal justice field, because I do believe that when we are equipped with those simple right knowledge in the world of criminal justice we’ll be able to make positive impression in contributing to a safer environment and in our community. I know that this journey in my four years stay in Abuyog Community College is worth the sweat and is self-fulfilling.

  110. MY LIFE AS A CRIMINOLOGY STUDENT
As a criminology student of Abuyog community college, I am 20 years old and a first year college student. My life as a criminology student is not easy specially I am a working student. Sometimes I'm struggling on my studies but I keep fighting on my dreams.

Being a student of criminology is not as simple as some people might believe. They claim that we only study criminology, but this is not entirely true. We must keep our grades because if we can't, we won't be able to practice as criminologists. We must follow orders from a higher power in order to function, hence discipline is demanded of us. We must work together for our own good because everyone will be punished if someone disobeys their rules and commands. Punishment serves as restitution for all the wrongdoing that we commit.

Although we must always be polite and respectful and criminology students must be punctual for class, I enjoy my course despite my initial reluctance. Because I used to be a singer, a soldier, and a seaman when I was younger, but all of those things have changed now that I'm an adult. I want a career and to make my parents pleased, thus criminology is the field I've chosen. I enjoy studying criminology at ACC because I've made a lot of new friends who are all so nice. This is important because criminology students need to get along with one another and we need unity.

Keep up with current happenings in the profession is one of the hardest tasks for a criminology student at Abuyog Community College. New research and policy developments are constantly being made in the field of criminal justice. So that I can keep informed, I make it a point to read news stories and academic journals on a regular basis.informed and involved in the most recent discussions and debates.

But I count myself really fortunate to be pursuing a criminology degree. It is a field that is intellectually challenging and socially significant, and I am confident that the knowledge and abilities I am acquiring will be useful to me no matter what career route I choose to follow.

  112. I am a first-year criminology student at Abuyog Community College. As a criminology student, it may not easy but I found myself being interested in this course. As other say I love my course too, it's not an easy course but we know that there are no difficulties when we love what we do. I've been fascinated by every criminology class I've attended. Taking this course was the right choice I made.

Many students also encountered some problems during their studies, and I also encountered some difficulties and problems. One of my problems is a financial problem. I know some students can relate to my problem. Allowance, tuition, and, other expenses are one of the students' problems and my problem too. But even with the difficulties I'm facing right now, I tell myself that there are always problems, but God is always there for people who need him.

One of the skills I learned as a criminology student is time management. I learned to wake up early and balance my time. School always offers something to help us improve our skills. If anyone is considering studying criminology at the ACC, I would say do not hesitate to do so.

As a criminology student and officer, it's not as easy as what others say or think. Every Sunday we have ROTC and we also have a duty at the gate if we want to. But as I said earlier, there are no difficulties if we like what we do. Just trust the process.

  113. My Life as a Criminology Student

    Introduction:
What does a criminology student study? When I was in High School I thought that being a criminology student was easy although there is no easy course in college. But when I went to college I choose the BSCriminology course because I like it and it's also what my parents like. In criminology I learned a lot, and my knowledge of crime and its impact on society became extensive. Starting from the theory of criminal behavior to the interfaces of the criminal justice system, psychology, criminal law, and law enforcement statistics. These are some of the things we studied this first year college. In Criminology students we have ROTC, this is one of our course program. In ROTC we are taught many things including military leadership, disaster response, map reading, rope course and jungle survival skills, infantry weapons, rappelling, small unit tactics, communications, field artillery training, self-defense, and first aid. It also has two concepts, basic and advanced. I belong to the advanced officer. As an advanced officer, you have many responsibilities, for example, time management, every saturday and sunday i woke up at 2am in the morning to get ready for school. Every monday we guard the gate because that is one of our responsibilities as an advance officer. Is being a criminology student fun? based on my experience it's very fun because you learn a lot and change a lot not only in your studies but also in yourself. A lot has changed for me especially when we did ROTC it reduce my pride and I became wiser and I communicate with many people, and also my physicality has changed.

    Body:
What motivates you to enroll in Criminology as your course?
What motivated me to choose criminology as my course is so that I can learn a lot about criminals and I really like this course because when I was young I really wanted to be a police officer and this course is the way to become a police officer me someday aside from the salary, I really want to serve our country.
    In Criminology hard to study?
Yes, nothing is as easy to study, especially now the teaching is too complicated because there is no classroom available and when there is an online class, the signal is slow. But they say that if you like the course you have chosen, you will do everything to learn.
    Conclusion:
Therefore I conclude that being a criminology student is difficult but fun because you can learn a lot and get through your studies. You just need to go along so it's not too difficult. Just put in your mind that this is for your future.

It is sometimes a little bit difficult because my place has a poor cignal connection/connectivity so I have to find a place /an area that has a better cignal. There is one time that our schedule have conflict so it became difficult a little on us. We just need to pass our activity on time and do our best on doing activities.
As part of our course we have firing familiarization, marksmanship and many more, before that happens we will have an orientation first. Few more months to come and we will become a 2nd year student. I hope that me and my mates will continue to pursue our dreams as men in uniforms and that no one will stop couz 3 more years and we will become a 4th year student. Let just don't forget to pray and always be humble and kind, be optimistic always even though it is impossible to think.
